Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of April, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Post-office in Block IX, East Cape Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work, to wit, for the purposes of a post-office in Block IX, East Cape Survey District:
And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said post-office; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the ninth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighth day of April, 1914.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, section four, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint JAMES MACKENZIE, Esquire, of Wellington, Under-Secretary of Lands, to be a member of the Board of Land Purchase Commissioners, constituted under the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, in the place of John Strauchon, Esquire, I.S.O., retired. The appointment to date from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen.

Declaring Ngongotaha Mountain Road, in the Rotorua County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this seventeenth day of April, 1914.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE W. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that road known as Ngongotaha Mountain Road, in Rotorua County, Auckland Land District, commencing at its junction with Clayton Road, and proceeding thence in a northerly direction generally, passing through Rotohokahoka C Block, Block IV, Horohoro Survey District, Rotohokahoka D Block, Block IV, Horohoro, and XVI, Rotorua Survey Districts, thence westerly and then southerly through Rotohokahoka F Block, and southerly and then north-westerly through part said Rotohokahoka D Block, Block XVI, Rotorua Survey District, and terminating at the summit of Ngongotaha Mountain; being a distance of five miles, more or less: as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 35224, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red and marked A-B.

Declaring Portion of Poarangi Road, in the Whangamomona County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this seventeenth day of April, 1914.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE W. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of Poarangi Road, in the Whangamomona County, Taranaki Land District, commencing at its junction with Whangamomona to Wanganui River Road, and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction generally along the frontages of Section 1 and part Section 2, Block II, Mahoe Survey District, and terminating at a point about 13 chains distant from the most westerly corner of Section 6, Block II, Mahoe Survey District, being a distance of 65 chains, more or less: as the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 35242, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red and marked A-B.
