KAITANGATA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
SPECIAL ORDER MAKING SPECIAL RATE FOR REPAYMENT OF LOAN.
NOTICE is hereby given that the following resolution was passed at a special meeting of the Kaitangata Borough Council held on 6th December, 1913, and confirmed on the 7th day of January, 1914:—
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and the amendments thereof, the Kaitangata Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest, repaying the principal, and other charges on a loan of £100, authorized to be raised by the said Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of making drains, constructing bridges and culverts on Wellington Street, Raglan Street, and Collingwood Street, in the Township of Granton, the Kaitangata Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one shilling in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the special-rating area described in the schedule hereto; and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off. It is proposed to pay the cost of raising the loan out of loan-moneys. The following is the schedule referred to:—
Sections 1–8, Block IV, Granton, 9 acres; Sections 1–15, Block V, Granton, 21 acres; Sections 7–15 of 4, Block IV, North Molyneux, 18 acres; Section part of 5, Block IV, North Molyneux, 40 acres; Sections 14, 15, of 4, Block IV, North Molyneux, 6 acres.
I, Daniel Percy Clements, do hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Kaitangata Borough Council.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
THE Partnership formerly existing between us, in the business of Dyers and Cleaners, carried on by us at No. 128 Armagh Street, Christchurch, under the style of “Josephson & Co.,” has been dissolved. The business will in future be carried on by the undersigned PHILIP JOSEPHSON on his own account.

WE, the undersigned, heretofore carrying on business at Hazelburn, as Fruitgrowers, under the name of “J. & R. Andrews,” hereby give notice that the Partnership subsisting between us has been dissolved as from this date. In future the said business will be carried on by the said JOHN ANDREWS, to whom all moneys must be paid and by whom all debts will be paid.
