Native Land Act, 1909.
REGULATION No. 48.
THE Maori Land Board for the Tokerau Maori Land
District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners
of Motukiore H Block will be held, in pursuance of Part
XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Rawene on Tuesday,
the 24th day of February, 1914, at 10.30 o'clock in the
forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following
proposed resolutions:-
“(1.) That the said land be leased to Alicia Barbara
Gertrude Cook for a term of fifty years at a rental of 1s. 6d.
per acre per annum for the first twenty-five years and 3s.
per acre per annum for the second twenty-five years.
“(2.) That the said land be leased to Henry Williams
for a term of twenty-one years at a rental of 2s. per acre per
annum.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tokerau Maori Land
District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners
of Mangamuka West No. 2 will be held, in pursuance of
Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Kohukohu on
Friday, the 20th day of February, 1914, at 10 o'clock in the
forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following pro-
posed resolution:-
“ That the said land be sold to Cecil Walter Adams for the
sum of £1 2s. 6d. per acre.”

Native Land Act, 1909.
REGULATION No. 48.
THE Maori Land Board for the Tokerau Maori Land
District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners
of Pukahu No. 2 will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII
of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Kohukohu on Friday, the
20th day of February, 1914, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon,
for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolu-
tions:-
“(1.) That the said land be sold to John Templeton for
the sum of £1 per acre.
“(2.) That the right be granted to the Union Box and
Packing-case Company (Limited), to cut and remove within
a period of three years all kahikatea, rimu, matai, totara, and
kauri timber on payment of the following royalties : 6d. per
100 sup. feet for kahikatea, rimu, and matai, 2s. per 100 sup.
feet for totara, and 2s. 6d. per 100 sup. feet per kauri.
“(3.) That the timber on the said land be sold to the
Rangiora Timber Company (Limited), at the following prices:
kauri, 2s. 6d. per 100 sup. feet; totara, 2s. per 100 sup. feet;
rimu, kahikatea, and matai, 7d. per 100 sup. feet.”

Native Land Act, 1909.
REGULATION No. 48.
THE Maori Land Board for the Tokerau Maori Land
District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners
of Hanerau No. 4 Block will be held, in pursuance of
Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Pahi Kaipara
on Tuesday, the 10th day of March, 1914, at 10 o'clock in
the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following
proposed resolution:-
“ That the said land be leased to Arthur Trewin of Maro-
hemo, farmer, for a term of twenty-one years, at a rental
of 5 per cent. on the Government valuation. That at the
termination of the lease the improvements effected by the
lessee be paid for in cash, but in lieu of paying such com-
pensation the owners may renew the lease for a further term
of twenty-one years at a rental of 5 per cent. on the then
unimproved value, such rental to be retained until the value
of the improvements effected by the lessee be paid by the
owners.”

of Mohatau No. 3B No. 1 Block will be held, in pursuance of
Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Kawakawa on
Friday, the 27th day of February, 1914, at 1.30 o'clock in the
afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following pro-
posed resolution:-
“ That the said land be leased to Tau Paraone for a term
of twenty-one years at a rental of 5 per cent. on the Govern-
ment valuation.”
