direction by the south boundary of Section 12 (P.E.R.), Block XV, Maungakaretu Survey District, to the Mangapapa Stream; thence in a northerly direction by the said stream to the south boundary of Section 1 (P.E.R.), Block XV, Maungakaretu Survey District; thence in an easterly direction by the south boundary of said Section 1 and the south boundaries of Sections 21, 22, and 23, Block XVI, Maungakaretu Survey District, and again in a northerly direction by the east boundary of said Section 23 to the Rongoiti Road; thence by the said road and the south-east boundaries of Sections 17 and 18A, and the north-east boundary of Section 13A to the Rangitikei County boundary; and thence by the said boundary in a westerly direction to the point of commencement. And that such special rate shall be annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan. being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off; the annual interest and sinking fund being together at the rate of £5 12s. 2d. per centum per annum.

I, Robert Kirkpatrick Simpson, Chairman of the Rangitikei County Council, do hereby certify that the above resolution was duly made and passed at a special meeting of the Rangitikei Council held on the 4th day of April, 1914.

LOST POLICY.

THE Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States intends to issue, one month after this date, in terms of section 59 of the Life Insurance Act, 1908, a special policy in place of Policy No. 667876, in name of Frederick Meyer, now of Klondyke, formerly of Whangarei, Blacksmith, declared to have been lost.
