In the matter of the Counties Act, 1908, and the Rating Act, 1908.

I HEREBY give notice that on the 27th day of January, 1914, a proposal was submitted by the Mangonui County Council to the ratepayers within the Mangonui County that henceforth the system of rating property on the basis of the unimproved value thereof be adopted in the Mangonui County.

The votes recorded respectively for and against the proposal were as follow: For. 134; against. 115.

I therefore declare the proposal carried.

THE MAGNUM BONUM GOLD-DREDGING COMPANY (LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company duly convened and held at the registered office of the company on Saturday, the 14th day of March, 1914, the following resolution, that is to say,—

“That the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908; and that ROBERT HAY, the Secretary of the Company, be appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up,”—

to take effect as a special resolution, was passed. And notice is hereby also given that the said resolution was duly confirmed at an extraordinary general meeting of the company held at the registered office of the company on Saturday, the 4th day of April, 1914.
