INGLEWOOD ELECTRIC LIGHT AND POWER COMPANY (LIMITED).

TAKE notice that the name of the above-mentioned company will at the expiration of three months from the date hereof, unless cause is shown to the contrary, be struck off the Register, and the company will be dissolved.

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in them in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and its subsequent amendments, the Franklin County Council do hereby resolve as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,500, authorized to be raised by the Franklin County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of the following works—widening, forming, metalling parts of the Hunua to Railway-station Road, Hill's Road, Hunua to Paparimu Road, Whisky Creek Road, and Kauri Clump Road—in all, £1,160—and widening and forming Martin's Road, Fall's Road, Jones Road, Pollock's Road, Creamery Road, and bridle-track Paparimu to Maungatawhiri—in all, £290; expenses, £50: total, £1,500—the said Franklin County Council hereby make and levy a special rate of one-third of a penny in the pound upon the capital value of such parts of the special-rating area as hereinafter defined where the rating upon the capital value is in force, and 41/64ths of a penny in the pound (being equivalent to the above) upon such parts of the said area where the rating upon the unimproved value is in force. The special-rating area is as follows: The whole of the rateable properties in the Hunua Road District (in which district the rating upon the unimproved value is in force), together with the following properties in the Opaheke Road District—Section 95, part 96, Block VI; 126, Block VI; 94, Blocks VI and VII; 200, Block VI; 204, Block VII; 93, Blocks VI and VII; 128, 250, 37, and 11, Block VII; 12, Blocks VII and IX; 13, Block XI; 81A, Block VII; also the following properties in the Paparata Road District—130, 133, 135, Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, being all the properties in the Happy Valley Estate, Blocks VII and XI, and the following properties in the Maungatawhiri Outlying Districts —Sections 90, 64, 56, 54, 6, 5, 98, 7, Block III; 89, 97, Blocks XIII and III; 97A, Blocks XIII and XIV; 100, Block XIV; 101, 102, 103, 56, 57, Block IV; 58A, 58, 61, 61B, 108, 46, 60, Block VIII; 62 and 63, Block VII: and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the first day of August in each and every year (at the office of the Council) during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

DENNISTON CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY (LIMITED). IN LIQUIDATION.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the members of the above society the following extraordinary resolution was passed:

“ That, it having been proved to the satisfaction of its members that the Denniston Co-operative Society (Limited), cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, it is advisable to wind up the same.”
