EVIDENCE having been furnished of the loss of certi-
ficate of title, Vol. 44, folio 18, for Sections 10 and 11,
Block II, District of Otara, whereof GEORGE CHICK, late of
Port Chalmers, Hotelkeeper (now deceased), is the registered
proprietor, and application having been made to me to
issue a provisional certificate of title for the said land, I
hereby give notice of my intention to issue such provisional
certificate at the expiration of fourteen days from the date
of the publication hereof.

IN LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of section 230
of the Companies Act, 1908, a general meeting of the
Scotia Gold-mining Company (Limited), (in Liquidation), will
be held at 106 Victoria Arcade, Queen Street, Auckland, on
Monday, 16th March, 1914, at 2.30 o’clock in the afternoon,
for the purpose of having laid before the meeting the accounts
of the Liquidator, showing the manner in which the winding-
up has been conducted and the property of the company dis-
posed of, and of hearing an explanation thereof given by the
Liquidator. The company will be asked to declare by extra-
ordinary resolution how the books, accounts, and documents
of the company and of the Liquidator are to be disposed of.
