Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the
Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Aotea Maori Land
District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners
of Pukewhakapu 2B1 will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII
of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wanganui on Friday, the
20th day of March, 1914, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, for the
purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That the proposed sale of the said block to Alexandrina
Whiteman at the price of £221 be agreed to.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native
Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Ikaroa Maori Land District
hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Para-
ngarahu No. 7 will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of
the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wellington on Friday, the
20th day of March, 1914, at 2.30 o’clock in the afternoon,
for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That the said land, containing 264 acres 1 rood 14 perches,
be leased to Jean Gunn Burdan for a term of twenty-one
years, at a rental to be not less than 5 per cent. on the present
Government valuation; or, in the alternative, that the said
land be sold to John William Burdan at a price to be not less
than the present Government valuation.”

Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Ikaroa Maori Land District
hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Tau-
manuka No. 3D No. 1 will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII
of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Levin on Monday, the
23rd day of March, 1914, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon,
for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That the said land, containing 3 acres 3 roods 1·68 perches,
be sold to Susannah Brown at a price to be not less than the
present Government valuation.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Ikaroa Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of
Piritaha No. 9A will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII
of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Levin on Monday, the
23rd day of March, 1914, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon,
for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That a part of the said land, containing 2 acres 2 roods
20 perches, be sold to George McBeath at a price to be not less
than the present Government valuation.”

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Ikaroa Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of
Horowhenua XIB 41 South F will be held, in pursuance of Part
XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Levin on Monday,
the 23rd day of March, 1914, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon,
for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That the said land, containing 52 acres 3 roods 20 perches,
be sold to Walter Ryder at a price to be not less than the
present Government valuation.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native
Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Ikaroa Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of
Kawakawa No. 1D will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII
of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Martinborough on
Tuesday, the 24th day of March, 1914, at 2 o’clock in the
afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following
proposed resolution:—

“That the said land, containing 2,000 acres, be mortgaged
to the Public Trustee to secure the sum of £1,500 for the
purpose of repaying an existing mortgage; and, further,
that the rent payable under memorandum of lease from the
Ikaroa District Maori Land Board to Matiu Ahipene be
assigned to the Public Trustee to secure the repayment of
the said sum of £1,500.”

Maori Lands for Sale and Lease by Public Tender.

NOTICE is hereby given, in terms of the Native Land
Act, 1909, and the regulations thereunder, that
written tenders are invited and will be received at the office
of the Waikato-Maniapoto District Maori Land Board, Auckland, up to 5 o’clock p.m. on Thursday, 19th March, 1914,
for the purchase of the several lands named in the First
Schedule hereto; and that written tenders are also invited
and will be received at the same time and place for leases of
the several lands named in the Second Schedule hereto for a
term of twenty-two years, with right of renewal for a further
term of twenty-one years and a half.
