Notice respecting Proposed Town District, Waiuku, County of
Manukau.

Wellington, 3rd March, 1914.

IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to
His Excellency the Governor, under the Town Boards
Act, 1908, praying that the area described in the Schedule
hereto may be constituted a town district under the said Act,
by name the Town District of Waiuku. All persons affected
are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or
petitions against the constitution of the said town district
which they desire to lodge within one month from the first
publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be
addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.

SCHEDULE.

DESCRIPTION OF BOUNDARIES OF PROPOSED TOWN DISTRICT
OF WAIUKU.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded com-
mencing at the intersection of the northern side of Sandspit
Wharf Road (intersecting Allotment 313, Waipipi Parish)
with high-water mark of Waiuku River ; thence towards the
north-east generally by a right line due east to high-water
mark of Allotment 166, Waiuku East Parish, and by high-
water mark along Allotment 166 aforesaid, the abutment of
a road, and along Allotments 165, 164, and 163 of the same
parish, to the western boundary of Allotment 159 of same
parish ; thence by a right line to the road forming the south-
eastern boundary of Allotment 48, Waiuku East Parish, at
a distance of 2350 links from the south-western corner of
that allotment ; thence by a right line to the road forming
the south-eastern boundary of Allotment 47 of the aforesaid
parish, at a distance of 775 links from the southernmost
corner of the last-mentioned allotment, and by that line pro-
duced to the centre of the last-mentioned road ; towards the
south-east generally by the centre of the road forming the
south-eastern boundaries of Allotments 47, 44, 46, and 8,
and part of the road forming the western boundary of the last-
mentioned allotment of Waiuku East Parish, to a point in
line with the production of the northern boundary of Allot-
ment 11 of the same parish ; thence to and by the aforesaid
Allotment 11 ; thence in a southerly direction across a road
to the north-eastern corner of Lot 4 of a subdivision of Allot-
ments 154 and 155, Waiuku West Parish ; thence towards
the south and east by Lot 4 aforesaid to the southern boundary
of Allotment 155 aforesaid, and again towards the south by
that boundary-line to the eastern boundary of Lot 9 of the
subdivision aforesaid ; thence towards the west generally by
Lot 9 aforesaid to its north-eastern corner, and across a road
to the easternmost corner of Allotment 3, Waiuku West
Parish ; thence by a right line to the easternmost corner of
Allotment 4 of the same parish, and by that allotment to a
point in line with the south-eastern side of Sandspit Wharf
Road produced ; thence by a right line through Lot 3 (a
subdivision of Allotment 313, Waipipi Parish aforesaid), and
across a road, to the south-eastern side of Sandspit Wharf
Road aforesaid, and by the eastern side of the last-mentioned
road to the point of commencement.
