At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of February, 1914.

THE HONOURABLE W. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the eighth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, the management of the wharf at Waitangi, Chatham Islands, was vested in Messrs. Charles Wishart, Thomas Patrick G. Miller, James J. Fougere, and Franz Regnault, as Trustees for the inhabitants of the district, and dues were prescribed for the use of the said wharf:

And whereas it is desirable to amend the said Order in Council in the manner hereinafter described:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the Harbours Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the Second Schedule by deleting the word “landing” therein and substituting the word “loading” therefor; and doth declare that this Order in Council shall have effect on and from the eighth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Mount St. John Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-third day of February, 1914.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE J. ALLEN PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty-seven of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, by Order in Council gazetted, appoint any local authority to be the Domain Board having, subject to the said Act, control of any public domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and two, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-seventh day of June, one thousand nine hundred and two, powers were delegated to the Mount St. John Domain Board in respect of the Mount St. John Domain for a period of ten years:

And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the twentieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twelve:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

THE ONE-TREE HILL ROAD BOARD

to be the Mount St. John Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the twentieth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Road Board Office, Manukau Road, Epsom, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

MOUNT ST. JOHN DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 7 acres 2 roods 2 perches, more or less, being Allotment 12A, Section 11, Suburbs of Auckland (Block I, Otahuhu Survey District). Bounded towards the north-east by a public road and the abutment of the same, 4·26, 351·7 12·34, 61, 184·49, and 20·8 links; towards the east and south-east by Allotments 14 and 15 of Section 11, Suburbs of Auckland, 56, 44, 106, 188, 76·4, 137·8, 61·4, and 68·5 links; towards the south generally by Allotment 18 of Section 11, Suburbs of Auckland, 32·7, 32·7, 32·7, 104·11, and 106·91 links; towards the south-west and west generally by Allotments 17 and 16 of Section 11, Suburbs of Auckland, 67·07, 298·92, 49·85, 80, and 160 links; and towards the north-west by the abutment of a public road and by Allotment 12 of Section 11, Suburbs of Auckland, 251·25, 265·25, 12·75, 12·36, 128·33, 13·48, 77·78, 26·04, 14, 12·1, and 2·28 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 48039/20A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
