Plant declared to be Noxious Weed by the Ohinemuri County Council.—Notice No. 1767.

Wellington, 15th December, 1914.
IT is hereby notified for public information that the Ohinemuri County Council has, by special order, declared gorse (Ulex Europoeus) to be a noxious weed within the meaning of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1908, in the district under its jurisdiction.

Consent under Section 298 of the Native Land Act, 1909.
IN pursuance of the power conferred upon the Native Minister by subsection (b) of section 298 of the Native Land Act, 1909, I, William Herbert Herries, Native Minister, acting on the recommendation of the Waiariki District Maori Land Board, do hereby consent to a lease of Waimana No. 1b No. 3 Block, containing 78 acres 0 roods 20 perches, situated in the Provincial District of Auckland, subject to the same restrictions and to the same requirements as to confirmation and otherwise as if the land was not subject to Part XVI of the Native Land Act, 1909.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Block II, Mangahao Survey District, for Road Purposes.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road in Block II, Mangahao Survey District; and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Ballance, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land required to be taken:—
1 acre 1 rood 5 perches, portion of Section 1. Coloured pink on plan.
3 acres 0 roods 28 perches, portion of Section 8. Coloured blue on plan.
Situated in Block II, Mangahao Survey District.
All in the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 36865, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Ohura, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
