Lands in the Auckland, Marlborough, and Southland Land
Districts withdrawn from State Forest Reservation.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the lands specified in the Schedule hereto
are State forests under the control of the Commis-
sioner of State Forests appointed under the State Forests
Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), and the
said lands are now no longer required for State-forest
purposes: And whereas plans showing the extent and
position of the said lands, and a statement of the reasons
why they are no longer required for State-forest purposes,
have been laid before both Houses of Parliament for a period
of thirty days, and no resolution has been passed by either
of such Houses objecting to the issue of this Proclamation:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the powers conferred by section twenty-eight of the said
Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this
behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke
the Proclamations specified in the said Schedule, so far as
they relate to the lands described in the said Schedule, as
from the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand
Gazette; and doth hereby proclaim and declare that from
and after such date the parcels of land described in the said
Schedule shall be no longer subject to the provisions of the
said Act.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, situated in
Blocks V and VIII, Opuawhanga Survey District, Whangarei
County, containing 2,195 acres, more or less. Bounded tow-
ards the north by Section 6, Block V, Opuawhanga Survey
District; towards the east and again towards the north by
the Wairahi Block; again towards the east by Section 8 of
the aforesaid Block V, and by Sections 12, 7, and 14, Block
VIII, Opuawhanga Survey District; towards the south by
the last-mentioned section and by Section 16, Block VIII
aforesaid; towards the west by Sections 6 and 22, Block VIII
aforesaid; again towards the south by Section 22 aforesaid;
and again towards the west by Section 12, Block VII, Opuaw-
hanga Survey District, and by Sections 14A, 14, and 13,
Block IV, Opuawhanga Survey District: as the same is
delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 57877/20, deposited
in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, situated
in Mareretu Parish, Otamatea County, containing 131 acres
1 rood 7 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the east
by Allotments 220, 219, 218, and 217, Mareretu Parish;
towards the south-west by a public road; and towards the
north-west by Allotment 243 of the aforesaid parish: as the
same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 721/11,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Proclamation dated the 1st day of June, 1906, and pub-

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.

All that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing
by admeasurement 205 acres, more or less, situated in Block I,
Wakamarina Survey District, and Block II, Heringa Survey
District. Bounded towards the north-west and north by
Crown lands, by lines bearing 43° 26', 5200 links, and 90°,
6000 links, to the Ronga River; towards the east by the right
bank of that river; and the Rai River to a point in line with the
northern boundary of Section 49, Block I, Wakamarina Sur-
vey District; thence towards the south across a road reserve,
by Section 49 aforesaid, and across a public road, 4120 links
and 2185 links; thence towards the south-west, south, and
south-east by Section 1, Block II, Heringa Survey District,
550.5 links, 1306.5 links, and 1666.1 links respectively;
thence again towards the south by Section 6, Block II, Heringa
Survey District, 1810.1 links: be all the aforesaid linkages
more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked
L. and S. XXII/695, deposited in the Head Office, Depart-
ment of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
bordered red.

Proclamation dated the 12th day of October, 1886, and
