charge, other than a mortgage or charge in favour of a State Loan Department, shall be confirmed by a Board or the Court without the precedent consent of the Governor in Council:

And whereas application has been made for the consent of the Governor in Council to a mortgage of the block or parcel of land mentioned in the Schedule hereto: And whereas it is expedient that the precedent consent of the Governor in Council should issue:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the confirmation of an alienation by way of mortgage of the block or parcel of land set out in the Schedule hereto. And it is hereby declared that this Order in Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the Native Land Act, 1909, and shall operate accordingly as a consent of the Governor in Council to the proceedings hereby authorized.

Lot 1, Waimana 63 Block: Approximate area, 1 acre 3 roods 28 perches; Auckland Provincial District.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Patearoa Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this seventh day of December, 1914.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-first day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-fourth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, the land described in the Schedule hereto was brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act:

And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

SAMUEL CUNNINGHAM GREER,
DOUGLAS CHARLES STEWART,
JAMES THOMAS SMITH CRERAR,
ROBERT MCSKIMMING,
JOHN THOMAS WILSON,
JOHN JAMES JOHNSTON, and
JAMES ALBERT ALEXANDER MILLAR

to be the Patearoa Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the eighth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Public Hall at Patearoa as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.

PATEAROA DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 7 acres and 24 perches, more or less, being Section 57, Block I, Upper Taieri Survey District. Bounded towards the north by part of Section 11 of Block I aforesaid, 848·5 links; towards the east by part of Section 11 aforesaid, 736·2 links; towards the south-east by part of Section 11 aforesaid, 900 links; and towards the west by a public road, 983·9 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. I/526, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Uritawa Domain.

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the eighteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-first day of November, one thousand nine hundred and seven, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Uritawa Domain:

And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the seventeenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

The Chairman of the Katikati Road Board, ex officio;
The Chairmen of the Katikati School Committees, ex officio;
The Chairman of the Katikati Library Trust, ex officio;
The Secretary of the Katikati Brass Band, ex officio; and
The Secretary of the Katikati Football Club, ex officio,

to be the Uritawa Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Public Library at Katikati as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.

URITAWA DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Town of Waterford, Parish of Tahawai, Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 1 rood 24 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 38, 39, 40, 41, and 42, together with the portions of Church Street and Fourth Avenue closed by Proclamation published in Gazette No. 73, of the 23rd August, 1906, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the north-eastern angle of Section No. 176; towards the north-east by a line, 600 links; towards the south-east by a line, 900 links; towards the south-west by a line, 600 links; and towards the north-west by a line, 900 links, to the commencing-point: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 49936/33, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged pink.
