pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable property
within the whole of the Borough of Gisborne, comprising the
whole of the Borough of Gisborne as described in the New
Zealand Gazette No. 48, of the 9th June, 1904, folio 1490;
and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly
on the 30th day of April and 31st day of October in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period
of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

GISBORNE BOROUGH COUNCIL.
HOSPITAL LOAN, 1914.—SPECIAL ORDER DECIDING TO RAISE
A LOAN TO MEET REQUISITION FROM COOK HOSPITAL AND
CHARITABLE AID BOARD FOR CAPITAL EXPENDITURE ON
NEW HOSPITAL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,
the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Hospitals and Chari-
table Institutions Act, 1909, and any other Acts enabling it
in that behalf, the Gisborne Borough Council, in order to
meet the balance of capital expenditure requisitioned by the
Cook Hospital and Charitable Aid Board for building a new
hospital, hereby decides to raise a special loan of £1,500, at
a rate of interest of 5 per cent. per annum. Such loan to be
repayable at 10 years from date of issue.
Passed at a special meeting of the said Gisborne Borough
Council on the 29th September, 1914, and confirmed at a
properly constituted meeting of the said Council held on the
27th October, 1914.
We hereby certify that the above special order has been
duly made. In witness whereof the seal of the said Council
has been hereunto affixed this 28th day of October, 1914.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto
subsisting between the undersigned EDWIN HENRY
BRITTON MILSOM and FREDERICK LOUIS ARMITAGE, carrying
on business under the style or firm of “The Clinical La-
boratory,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from
the 15th day of June, 1914.
All debts due to and owing by the late firm will be received
and paid by the said FREDERICK LOUIS ARMITAGE, who will
continue the said business under the name of the late firm,
“The Clinical Laboratory.”

W. HENNING & Co.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto
existing between the undersigned, WILLIAM HENNING
and M. C. FARRINGTON, as Motor-car Importers and Garage
Proprietors, has this day been dissolved by mutual consent.
The said M. C. Farrington will continue to carry on the
business, under the name of “W. Henning & Co.,” in the
Gore Street premises. All accounts owing to the late firm
are to be paid to the said M. C. FARRINGTON, who will discharge
all liabilities of the firm.

THE COMPANIES ACT, 1908.
In the matter of W. BOURDOT (LIMITED), Jewellers, Christ-
church (in Liquidation).
RESOLVED, That it has been proved to the satisfaction
of W. Bourdot (Limited), a duly incorporated private
company carrying on business at Christchurch, New Zealand,
that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue
its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same,
and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily
under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908; and that
Messrs. MAWSON STEWART & BECKETT, of Christchurch,
Public Accountants and Auditors, be hereby appointed
Liquidators for the purpose of winding up the company.
