First Meeting of the Tauranga Fire Board.

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Fire Brigades Act, 1908, I, Francis Henry Dillon Bell, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand, hereby appoint the Tauranga Borough Council Chambers, Tauranga, at 2 p.m. on Friday, the 9th October, 1914, to be the place and date for holding the first meeting of the Tauranga Fire Board.

Notice respecting Proposed Borough of Paeroa.

Wellington, 26th September, 1914.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1913, it is hereby notified that a petition, in accordance with regulations, signed by not less than one-fifth of the electors of the area described in the Schedule hereto, has been presented to His Excellency the Governor, praying that the said area may be constituted a borough under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, by name the Borough of Paeroa. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed constitution within one month from the first publication of this notice. Such objections or petitions are to be addressed and forwarded to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.

PROPOSED BOROUGH OF PAEROA.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at the point where the Te Tawa Stream joins the Waihou River; thence along the left bank of that stream to the north-western corner of Part D of Taiwhakarewakauri Block; thence along the north-western boundary of the said Part D to the Te Aroha–Thames Road; thence across that road to the south-western corner of Taiwhakarewakauri A Block, and along the south-western boundary of that block to the road forming the western boundary of Section No. 4, Block XI, Ohinemuri Survey District;
