TUAPEKA COUNTY.
BY-LAW No. 3, 1914.
A By-law to amend the Tuapeka County By-law No. 2, 1909.
IN pursuance of the powers, provisions, and authorities vested in it by the Counties Act, 1908, the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Motor Regulation Act, 1908, and of all and each and every other power, provision, and authority contained in any other Acts or otherwise vested in it, the Tuapeka County Council doth hereby make and ordain, by way of special order, the following by-law for Tuapeka County, that is to say:—
The short title of this by-law shall be “The Tuapeka County By-law No. 3, 1914.”
This by-law shall be read with and form part of The Tuapeka County By-law No. 2, 1909, in like manner as if the same had been enacted therein, and shall come into force on the 12th day of February, 1914.
The Schedule to the said The Tuapeka County By-law No. 2, 1909 is hereby amended by adding thereto the following subsections:—
(4.) The road from the Tuapeka Mouth Bridge up the east bank of the Clutha River to Rongahere Punt, situated in Block I, Waitahuna West District, and in Block VIII, Tuapeka West District. The terminal portions of the said prohibited road are at present indicated by pegs in the road, and will be further indicated by a sign bearing the words “Prohibited to motors by the Tuapeka County Council.”
(5.) That portion of the road from Waitahuna to Greenfield Settlement across Polson’s Creek which runs between Sections 8 and 18 and Sections 9, 10, 11, and 7, Block VI, Waitahuna West District. The terminal portions of the said prohibited road are at present indicated by pegs in the road, and will be further indicated by a sign bearing the words “Prohibited to motors by the Tuapeka County Council.”
(6.) That portion of the road from Waitahuna to Greenfield Settlement across the Waitahuna River which runs through Blocks VI and VII, Waitahuna East District, and
