and on and after the date so specified the land to which
the Order relates shall become subject to the provisions of
the Land Act, 1908 :

And whereas the Land Board of the Auckland Land District has duly passed a resolution recommending that the portion of the Towai Kauri-gum Reserve No. 1 described in the Schedule hereto be excepted from the operations of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation :

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section forty-six of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the portion of the Towai Kauri-gum Reserve No. 1 described in the Schedule hereto shall from the fifth day of February, 1914, cease to be subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District situated in Block V, Hukerenui Survey District, Bay of Islands County, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being part of Towai Kauri-gum Reserve No. 1, set apart by Order in Council dated 12th April, 1899, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 32, of 13th April, 1899. Commencing at a point 761536·1 links north and 286383 links west of Mt. Eden. Bounded towards the north-east by Towai Kauri-gum Reserve No. 1, 838·6 links; towards the east and south-east by a public road, 224·1 and 351·4 links respectively; and towards the south-west and north-west by Towai Kauri-gum Reserve No. 1 aforesaid, 987·4 and 519·2 links respectively: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1913/129, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Notice of Intention to change the Purpose of a Reserve in the Town of Pohangina, Wellington Land District.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

WHEREAS by the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, it is, amongst other things, enacted that the Governor may declare his intention to change, exchange, or alter the dedication of any public reserve now or hereafter vested in His Majesty or the Governor for any of the purposes named in Class II of the Second Schedule to the said Act, whether the same be granted or not; and in the case of any reserve made under the authority of section three hundred and twenty-one of the Land Act, 1908, if it shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be expedient to change the purpose for which such reserve was set apart to any other purpose, or if it shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be expedient to exchange any of the land comprised in such reserve for other land of equal value, to be dedicated to one or more of the purposes named in the said Class II, the Governor may, by notice gazetted, make such change, exchange, or dedication, as the case may be, and in such notice declare the manner and terms in which the same is intended to be so made :

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, aforesaid, declare my intention to change the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a site for public buildings of the General Government to a site for County Council offices and yards.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods, more or less, being Sections 11 and 12, Block V, Town of Pohangina. Bounded towards the north-west by Kiwi Street, 200 links; towards the north-east by Moa Road, 250 links; towards the south-east by Sections 9 and 10, 200 links; and towards the south-west by Section 13, 250 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22603/23, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twenty-third day of December, one thousand
nine hundred and thirteen.

Notice of Intention to change the Purpose of a Reserve in Ashburton Survey District, Canterbury Land District.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 12 perches, more or less, being Reserve 3715 (formerly part of Reserve 1467) situated in Blocks X and XI, Ashburton Survey District, and bounded north-eastward by Rural Section 26523, 416·3 links; southward by a public road, 663·5 links; and north-westward by a public road, 516·6 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 52446/6, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this fourteenth day of January, one thousand
nine hundred and fourteen.

Land temporarily reserved as a Site for a Post-office in Takauwhata Township, Auckland Land District.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, as a site for a post-office.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Sections 62 and 63, Takauwhata Township. Bounded towards the north-west by Section 61, Takauwhata Township, 161·67 links; towards the east and north-east by Section 64 of the aforesaid township, 100·34 and 100·22 links respectively; towards the south-east by the Waerenga Road, 100·72 links; and towards the south-west by Hori Street, 145·4 and 98·12 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1913/1440, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland Plan 17103A, blue.)

this twenty-ninth day of January, one thousand
nine hundred and fourteen.
