Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Langdale Domain.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirtieth day of January, 1914.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the fifteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and six, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the eighteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and six, certain powers were delegated to the Langdale Domain Board for a period of seven years:

And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the fourteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

WILLIAM DOUGLAS,
DONALD BENNETT,
JACOB GIFFORD,
JOHN MAXWELL,
EDWARD ISAAC CARMAN,
NEIL MCKAY,
JOHN HENDERSON, and
JAMES DOUGLAS

to be the Langdale Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twenty-eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Domain Board office, Langdale, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.

LANGDALE DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 26 acres 2 roods 2·8 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 15, 16, 11, and 12, Block III, Rewa Survey District, and a closed road. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road, 2100 links; towards the south-east by Langdale Road, 635·9 links; towards the south-west and north-west generally by Section No. 17, 384·8 links and 324·2 links, and by Section No. 3, 1102·4 links, 368·2 links, 432·1 links, and 1582 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1126/52A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Ngatikoi Domain.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirtieth day of January, 1914.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty-seven of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, by Order in Council gazetted, appoint any local authority to be the Domain Board having, subject to the said Act, control of any public domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the tenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and three, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the seventeenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and three, powers were delegated to the Ngatikoi Domain Board in respect of the Ngatikoi Domain for a period of ten years:

And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the ninth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

THE WAIHI BOROUGH COUNCIL

to be the Ngatikoi Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the nineteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, at half-past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Borough Council Chambers, Waihi, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.

NGATIKOI DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 133 acres 3 roods, more or less, being Section No. 15, Block XVI, Ohinemuri Survey District. Bounded towards the north generally by a public road, 1529·7, 1109·4, and 1504 links; towards the east generally by a public road along the Ohinemuri River, 449, 854·7, 444·9, 465·4, 738·1, 368·2, 663, and 377 links; towards the south generally by the continuation of same road, 686·8, 776·7, and 268·5 links; and towards the west generally by the continuation of road, 551·5, 274·4, 783·7, 1520·7, and 1008·4 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1376/4A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-ninth day of March, one thousand nine hundred, powers were delegated to the Parnell Borough Council as the Parnell Domain Board in respect of the Parnell Domain, no period being specified:
