Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that road in the Waitomo County, Auckland Land District, known as Oamaru Road, commencing at the boundary between Kawhia and Waitomo Counties in Block XIII, Pirongia Survey District, and proceeding easterly, southerly, and then north-easterly, adjoining or passing through Crown land south of Tapuaehounuku No. 2B Block, Block XIII, Pirongia Survey District; Section 1, Block I, Orahiri Survey District; Crown land, Blocks XIII and XIV, Pirongia Survey District; Section 1, Block XIV, Pirongia Survey District; Section 1, Block I, Orahiri Survey District; Sections 3, 8, and 2, Block II, Orahiri Survey District; and Orahiri No. 2 7B Block, Blocks II, Orahiri, and XIV, Pirongia Survey Districts, to its junction with the Moakuraru Stream in Orahiri No. 2 7B Block, Block XIV, Pirongia Survey District; being a distance of 5 miles 5 chains, more or less: as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 34856, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red and marked A–B.

Declaring Portion of Conway Gorge Road in the Cheviot County to be a County Road.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of January, 1914.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road in the Canterbury Land District, Cheviot County, known as the Conway Gorge Road, commencing at a point in Section 31, Block XI, Hawksworth Survey District, 14 chains from the north-west corner of the said Section 31, and proceeding thence in a south-westerly direction generally, nearly parallel to the original boundary of Hawksworth Estate, and at a distance of from 3 chains to 12 chains from the said boundary through Sections 31 and 30, Block XI, and Sections 29 and 28, Block X, Hawksworth Survey District, and terminating at a point in the said Section 28 about 10 chains from the original boundary of Hawksworth Estate, being a distance of 217 chains, more or less; as the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 34826, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

ALL that portion of road in the Waitomo County, Auckland Land District, known as Te Rau Mauku Road, commencing at its junction with the Hauturu to Otorohanga Road, in Block III, Orahiri Survey District, and proceeding thence in a south-westerly direction generally, adjoining or passing through Sections 15 (cemetery reserve), 14 and 11 (scenic reserve), and 12, Block III, Orahiri Survey District; subdivisions of Hauturu East Block (7095 and 7096); Sections 7, 8 (school-site), 9, 10, 21 (cemetery reserve), 11, and 12 (bush reserve), Block VII, Orahiri Survey District, to a point about midway on the southern boundary of Section 3, in the said Block VII, Orahiri Survey District; being a distance of 4 miles 30 chains, more or less: as the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 34857, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red and marked A–B.

ALL that road in the Waitomo County, Auckland Land District, known as Puketarata Road, commencing at its junction with Kiokio Road in Block I, Mangaorongo Survey District, and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction generally, adjoining or passing through Sections 7 (school-site) and 6, Block I, Mangaorongo Survey District, Sections 5, 1, 2 (Native reserve), and 3, Block XIII, and Section 7, Block XIV, Puniu Survey District, and terminating at a point on the boundary between the Waitomo and West Taupo Counties in said Section 7, Block XIV, Puniu Survey District; being a distance of 3 miles 20 chains, more or less: as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 34855, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red and marked A–B.
