MEDICAL REGISTRATION.
I, JOHN FALCONER BROWN, Doc. of Med. Univ. Edin. 1913, now residing in Auckland, hereby give notice that I intend applying on the 22nd December next to have my name placed on the Medical Register of the Dominion of New Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of my qualification in the office of the Registrar of Births and Deaths at Auckland.

BENJAMIN NAYLOR (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 230 of the Companies Act, 1908, that a general meeting of the members of the above-named company (Benjamin Naylor, Limited) will be held at the office of the Trustees, Executors, and Agency Company of New Zealand (Limited), in Water Street, Dunedin, on Saturday, the 13th day of December, 1913, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the assets of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 230 of the Companies Act, 1908, that a general meeting of the members of the Hawke’s Bay Timber Company will be held at the office of Messieurs Loughnan & Jacobs, Solicitors, Rangitikei Street, Palmerston North, on Friday, the 12th day of December, 1913, at 2 o’clock p.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanations which may be given by the Liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

JOHNSONVILLE TOWN BOARD.
RESULT OF POLL.
THE voting on the proposal that henceforth the system of rating property in the Johnsonville Town District be on the basis of the unimproved value thereof was as follows: For the proposal, 61; against the proposal, 22; majority in favour of the proposal, 39.
I therefore declare the proposal duly carried.

WARKWORTH TOWN BOARD.
RESOLUTION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Town Boards Act, 1908, the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, the Warkworth Town Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest and sinking fund and other charges on the loan of £200, authorized to be raised by the said Town Board, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of building a library and reading-room, the said Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/20th of a penny in the pound on the capital value of all rateable property in the Town District of Warkworth; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the last Friday in January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
Passed by the said Warkworth Town Board on the 27th day of October, 1913.

KARORI CENTRAL (LIMITED), (IN LIQUIDATION).
NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 230 of the Companies Act, 1908, that a general meeting of the members and creditors of the above-named company will be held at my office, 326 Lambton Quay, Wellington, N.Z., on Monday, the 15th day of December, 1913, at 5.15 p.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

LOST LEASE.
APPLICATION having been made to the Westland Land Board for the issue of a copy of Lease in Perpetuity No. 614, of Section 6, Block II, Runanga Township, whereof THOMAS ERNEST TEASDALE is the registered lessee, and evidence of the loss of the original lease having been lodged, I hereby give notice that I will issue a new lease unless objection be lodged forbidding the same within fourteen days after the publication of this notice.

BOROUGH OF KAITANGATA.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LANDS IN TOWNSHIP OF GRANTON AND DISTRICT OF NORTH MOLYNEUX FOR THE PURPOSE OF WIDENING ROAD.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to execute a certain public work, to wit, to widen the road fronting the undermentioned properties in the Township of Granton and District of North Molyneux, in the Otago Land District, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the Town Clerk for the Borough of Kaitangata in Water Street, Kaitangata, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such lands, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the said Town Clerk at his said office.
