The creditors of the Wanganui Dairy Company (Limited) are required, on or before the 15th day of December, 1913, to send in their names and addresses and the particulars of their debts or claims, and the names and addresses of their solicitors, if any, to the under-signed, at his office, 52 Victoria Avenue, Wanganui, the Liquidator of the said company, and, if so required by notice in writing from the said Liquidator, are personally or by their solicitors to come in and prove their claims or debts at such time or place as shall be specified in such notice.

GREY COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON PROPOSAL TO RAISE A LOAN.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Waipuna and Brunneron Ridings of the County of Grey taken on the 31st day of October, 1913, on the proposal of the Grey County Council to borrow the sum of £2,000 for the construction of a footbridge over the Grey River at the crossing near Ahaura, known as Lees Ferry, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 83, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 46.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

IN LIQUIDATION.
In the matter of the Golden Treasure Dredging Company (Limited), in Liquidation; and in the matter of section 230 of the Companies Act, 1908.
TAKE notice that a general meeting of the above-named company will be held on Tuesday, 16th December, 1913, at 3 o’clock p.m., at the office of Mr. Geo. M. Grigg, 228 Princes Street, Dunedin (opposite Gridiron Hotel), for the purpose of having laid before it an account showing the manner in which the winding-up of the company has been conducted and the assets of the company disposed of.

COOK COUNTY COUNCIL.
SPECIAL RESOLUTION MADE ON THE 14TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1913.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Cook County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,200, authorized to be raised by the Cook County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for meeting a levy made by the Cook Charitable Aid Board, the said Cook County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one two-hundredth of a penny in the £1 upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the County of Cook; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during a period equal to the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off. The rate of interest to be £4 10s. per cent.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Cook was hereto affixed in the presence of—

I, JAMES ALEXANDER PARK, Manager of the Perpetual Trustees Estate and Agency Company of New Zealand (Limited), do solemnly and sincerely declare—

That the liability of members is limited.

That the capital of the company is £106,250, divided into 25,000 shares of £4 5s.

That the number of shares issued is 25,000.

That calls to the amount of 7s. 6d. per share have been made, under which the sum of £9,375 has been received.

That the amount of all moneys paid on account of estates under administration during the half-year ending 31st day of October, 1913, is £44,454 13s. 6d.

That the amount of the balance held to the credits of estates under administration during the half-year ending 31st day of October, 1913, is £4,925 6s. 1d.

That the liabilities of the company on the 1st day of November last were debts owing to sundry persons by the company, viz.: On judgment, nil; on specialty, nil; on notes or bills, nil; on simple contracts, £33,610 19s. 4d.; on estimated liabilities, nil.

That the assets of the company on that date were: Government securities, nil; bills of exchange and promissory notes, nil; other securities, £54,840 18s. 3d.; cash at banker’s and on deposit, £3,720.
And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true, and by virtue of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned, and carrying on business as Auctioneers, Grain and Produce Merchants, in Temuka, under the style of “McDougall, Pedder, & Co.,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 1st day of June, 1913. All accounts owing by or to the said firm as at that date are to be rendered or paid forthwith to Mr. HENRY SCOTT, Arcade, Timaru, whose receipt will be a sufficient discharge.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership existing between HERBERT TIARKS and EBER HAYES, carrying on business at Ferry Buildings, Auckland, under the style of “Tiarks & Hayes,” as Professional Coaches, &c., has this day been dissolved by mutual consent.
The business will in future be carried on by TIARKS & HAYES (LIMITED), to whom all outstanding moneys are payable and by whom all existing liabilities will be discharged.
