Special Order made by the Wanganui County Council merging Mataongaonga Road District.

THE following special order, made by the Wanganui County Council, is published for general information.

SPECIAL ORDER.

Merging the Mataongaonga Road District.

In exercise of the powers conferred upon it by section 31 of the Counties Act, 1908, the Wanganui County Council, on a petition of the majority of the ratepayers of the Mataongaonga Road District whose property in respect of which they are rated aggregates more than half of the rateable property therein, resolves by way of special order that on and after the 19th day of November, 1913, the said Mataongaonga Road District shall be merged in the County of Wanganui and the Board thereof abolished.

The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Wanganui is hereto affixed by and in the presence of—

I hereby certify that the above special order was made at a properly constituted meeting of the Wanganui County Council held on 3rd October, 1913, and confirmed at a meeting held on 7th November, 1913, and that the provisions of the Counties Act have been complied with.

Special Order made by the Franklin County Council merging the Waiuku Road District.

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL.

In exercise of the powers conferred upon it by section 31 of the Counties Act, 1908, the Franklin County Council resolves by special order that the Waiuku Road District be abolished and merged in the Franklin County as from 31st March, 1914.

The above special order was duly made by the Franklin County Council at a special meeting on the 2nd day of October, 1913, and was duly confirmed at the ordinary meeting of the Council on the 6th day of November, 1913, and was publicly notified in the Pukekohe and Waiuku Times on the 10th, 17th, 24th, and 31st October, 1913.

Meetings of Hawke's Bay Land Board.

HIS Excellency the Governor has, in pursuance of section 48 (a) of the Land Act, 1908, approved of meetings of the Hawke's Bay Land Board being held at the District Lands and Survey Office, Napier, at 10 o'clock a.m. on Friday, 9th January, 13th February, 13th March, 3rd April, 8th May, 12th June, 10th July, 14th August, 11th September, 9th October, 13th November, and 11th December during the year 1914.

Defining Hicks Bay Restricted Limits.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section 189 of the Shipping and Seamen Act, 1908, I, Francis Marion Bates Fisher, Minister of Marine, do hereby define the Hicks Bay limits within which restricted-limit steamships and ships propelled by gas, oil, fluid, electricity, or any mechanical power other than steam, and to which restricted-limit certificates are issued, may ply to be those set forth herein, and I do divide such limits into river and extended-river limits.

River Limits.—Inside a straight line drawn from Matakawa Point to Iron Point (Kahau).

Extended-river Limits.—Between Hicks Bay and Te Araroa.

So much of a Warrant dated the 30th day of October, 1913, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 6th day of the following month, defining river and extended-river limits as relates to the Hicks Bay limits is hereby revoked.

As witness my hand, at Wellington, this 22nd day of November, 1913.
