THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

1900, and the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901, and their amendments, for the purpose of the erection of a town hall and fire-brigade station in the Borough of Marton—the said Marton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two elevenths (2/11ths) of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Marton, payable half-yearly in equal instalments on the first day of October and April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

The common seal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Marton Borough Council was hereto affixed at the offices of and pursuant to a resolution of the Marton Borough Council in the presence of—

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

THE Partnership business of Butchers and Bakers carried on at Morven, South Canterbury, by JOSEPH TANGNEY and JEREMIAH TANGNEY, under the style or firm of “Tangney Brothers,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the first day of November, 1913. The business will in future be carried on by JOSEPH TANGNEY, under the present style or name of “Tangney Brothers.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between ROBERT LYALL CHRISTIE and WILLIAM NICHOL WILSON, carrying on business as Engineers at Gore, under the style or firm of “R. L. Christie & Co.,” as from the first day of October, 1913, so far as concerns the said WILLIAM NICHOL WILSON, who retires from the said firm.

IN LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the matter of the Bay of Plenty Co-operative Land Company (Limited), (in Liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the Bay of Plenty Co-operative Land Company (Limited) held at the Canterbury Employers’ Association Rooms, Cashel Street, Christchurch, on the 22nd day of October, 1913, the following resolution was passed:—

“That the assets of the company having been realized, the company go into voluntary liquidation; and that OSCAR W. B. ANDERSON, Public Accountant and Auditor, Secretary of the Company, be appointed Liquidator of the company.”

And was confirmed as a special resolution at a meeting called for that purpose and held at the company’s office, Cathedral Square, Christchurch, on November 5th, 1913.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 33s. per annum, including postage, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.

Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertion.

Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged 23s.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.

• The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 3 o’clock of the day preceding publication.


BANKRUPTCY NOTICES.

THE public are informed that extracts from the New Zealand Gazette, containing all Bankruptcy Notices that appear in each issue, are published weekly, and will be sent post-free to any address on payment of a subscription of 10s. per annum. Single copies, 3d each.
