THE REWA DAIRY COMPANY (LIMITED).

IN LIQUIDATION.

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 230 of the Companies Act, 1908, that a general meeting of members of the above company will be held at my office, Hunterville, on Tuesday, the 2nd day of December, 1913, at 2.30 o'clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before the company showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator, and for the purpose of passing an extraordinary resolution disposing of the books, documents, and accounts of the company.

COUNTY OF EGMONT.

RESOLUTION MAKING AND LEVYING A SPECIAL RATE.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and amendments thereof, and the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909, the Egmont County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £50 (such sum being ten per centum additional of the original loan of £535), authorized to be raised by the Egmont County Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of defraying a portion of the cost of forming, metalling, and improving the unmetalled part of that portion of the Oeo Road which lies between the Skeet Road and a point near the southern boundary of Section II, Block 13, Kaupokonui Survey District, being a length of eighty (80) chains, more or less, the said Egmont County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one thirty-eighth (1/38th) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the special-rating area; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off. The rate of interest to be 4½ per centum."

RODNEY COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of powers vested in it in that behalf by the Counties Act, 1908, the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909, and the amendments thereof, the Rodney County Council resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of paying the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,000, authorized to be raised by the Rodney County Council by vote of the ratepayers of the Omaha Special Road Loan District, for forming and metalling the road from Big Omaha to Pakiri via Leigh, the Rodney County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one halfpenny in the pound upon the capital value of all the Omaha Special Road Loan District, comprised of all the area within the following boundaries: Commencing at the south-eastern angle of Section 120, Omaha Parish; thence proceeding by the southern boundary of that section, by the western boundaries of the said Sections 120 and 121, by a portion of the western boundary of Section 122, to the south-eastern angle of Section 68; thence by the southern boundaries of Sections 68, 67, and 41A; thence by the western boundary of the said Section 41A, continuing by a portion of the southern boundary of Section 104 to the south-western angle of that section; thence by a portion of the western boundary of Section 104 to the south-eastern angle of Section 110; thence by the southern boundaries of Sections 110 and 111, by the western boundaries of the said Sections 111 and 112, and a portion of the western boundary of Section 113. All the aforesaid sections are in Omaha Parish. On reaching the south-eastern corner of Section 102A, Pakiri Parish, proceeding thence by the southern boundary of that section to its conjunction with the eastern boundary of Section 94; thence by that road at the south-east corner of the said Section 94; thence by that road to the north-east corner of Section 101, all Pakiri Parish; thence continuing by another road to the south-western boundary of Section 55, Pakiri Parish; thence by the western boundary of the last-named section to its north-west corner, from thence by a right line to the south-east corner of the State forest reserve, the said right line running through Pakiri No. 1 Blocks X and VI, Pakiri Survey District; thence by the south-east boundary of the said State forest reserve to the sea; and thence by the sea to the commencement-point. Such area being portions of Block land II, Rodney Survey District, Blocks XV, XI, X, VII, and VI, Pakiri Survey District. And that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and to be payable yearly upon the last Friday in January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WELLINGTON HARBOUR FERRIES (LIMITED).

At a meeting of the shareholders of the above-named company held on 21st October, 1913, the following special resolution was carried:

"That the company be wound up voluntarily."

At an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders held on 5th November, 1913, this resolution was confirmed, and Messrs. F. G. Dalziel and E. G. F. Zohrab were appointed Liquidators.

THE ARAHIWI SAWMILLING COMPANY (LIMITED).

(A PRIVATE COMPANY.)

NOTICE is hereby given that the following special resolution was passed at a general meeting of the above-named company held on October 13th and duly confirmed on November 1st:

"That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Mr. Richard English, of Hamilton, be appointed Liquidator."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, the Marton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest and sinking fund and other charges on the loan of one thousand five hundred pounds (£1,500), authorized to be raised by the said Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the following purpose—to pay off the loan of £1,500 authorized to be raised by the Marton Borough Council, under the provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act,
