I, JOHN MURRAY, Assistant Registrar of Companies, do hereby give notice that an affidavit, a copy of which is hereunder given, by Matthew Henderson, Chairman of the Paracale Gold-dredging Company (Limited), has been lodged with me, and that, unless notice of objection be lodged with me within sixty days of this date, I shall proceed to declare the said company to be dissolved in manner provided by the Companies Act, 1908.

AFFIDAVIT ON APPLICATION FOR DISSOLUTION OF COMPANY.
I, MATTHEW HENDERSON, of Milburn, Merchant, Chairman of the Paracale Gold-dredging Company (Limited), incorporated under the Companies Act, 1908, do hereby make oath and say—
That the nominal capital of the said company is £9,000, in 9,000 shares of £1 each.
That the shares have been fully paid up.
That the company has no assets, and has ceased to carry on business.
And I do hereby apply for declaration of dissolution of such company.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership business formerly carried on at Greymouth by GERALD JOSEPH PEROTTI, and FRANCIS ARTHUR BELL, and EDWARD JOHN CHAPMAN as Builders and Joiners, under the name of “Bell, Chapman, & Co.,” has been dissolved. All liabilities of the late firm will be discharged by the said EDWARD JOHN CHAPMAN, who will also receive all debts owing to the late firm. Dated at Greymouth this 30th day of October, 1913.

NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 230 of the Companies Act, 1908, that a general meeting of the members of the above company will be held in the Dunedin Stock Exchange Room, Princes Street, Dunedin, on Thursday, the 27th day of November, 1913, at 5 o’clock p.m., for the purpose of having the accounts laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the assets of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanations that may be given by the Liquidator.

GREY COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908; and in the matter of the proposal of the Grey County Council to take certain lands within the County of Grey for the purposes of constructing a road from Totara Flat to Waipuna known as Waipuna Road.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Grey County Council proposes to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a public work—to wit, the constructing of a road from Totara Flat to Waipuna known as Waipuna Road. And notice is hereby further given that a plan showing the lands required to be taken, together with the names of the owners and occupiers of such lands so far as they can be ascertained, is deposited in the public office of the said County Council situated in Gresson Street, Greymouth, and is open for public inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said lands shall, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such lands, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the said County Council, addressed to the County Chairman at the offices of such County Council situate in Gresson Street, Greymouth.
