Notifying Land in Wellington Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth section of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Wednesday, the twenty-eighth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, as the time at which the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the price at which the said land shall be sold as that mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—PAHIATUA COUNTY.—MANGAHAO SURVEY DISTRICT.

Rural Land.

Situated on the right bank of the Mangahao River, near the Town of Ballance. The access is from Pahiatua, about seven miles distant by metalled road; from the main road the access is by partly formed road to river-bank, thence by ford to the section. Flat, river-bank land, subject to flood; mostly cleared, in grass. Alluvial soil of good quality, on shingle and papa formation.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this sixth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth section of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Thursday, the fifteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, as the time at which the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the price at which the said land shall be sold as that mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

Rural Land.

Altitude, 20 ft. to 300 ft. above sea-level. Broken to undulating country; about 10 acres mixed forest, balance fern land. Soil of fair quality of sandy nature, on sandstone formation; well watered by streams. Situated about four miles from Kutarere Post-office by good formed road.
