HASTINGS BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, the Hastings Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest and sinking fund and other charges on the loan of £1,130, authorized to be raised by the said Council, under the Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909, for the purpose of paying its contribution to the Hawke’s Bay Hospital and Charitable Aid Board, for the purpose of acquiring land for hospital buildings, and for making additions and alterations in the present hospital buildings in Napier, the said Hastings Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/49th of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Hastings, payable yearly on the first day of April until the said loan is fully paid off.
The common seal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Hastings Borough Council was hereto affixed at the offices of and pursuant to a resolution of the Hastings Borough Council in the presence of—

WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE ON A LOAN OF £400, BEING AN ADDITIONAL 10 PER CENT. ON THE ORIGINAL HONIKIWI LOAN OF £4,000.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by section 4 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, the Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also other charges on a loan of £400, authorized to be raised by the Waitomo County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for completing present contracts metalling the various roads in the Honikiwi Special-rating Area, the said Waitomo County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-sixteenth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Honikiwi Special-rating Area, comprising the whole of the Honikiwi Special-rating Area as gazetted in connection with the original Honikiwi Loan Special-rating Area amount of original loan £400 ; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly in one sum on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years or until the loan is fully paid off.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and of the Queen’s Theatre (Limited), a private company.
NOTICE is hereby given that by a resolution entered in the minute-book of the company on the 23rd day of December, 1912, having the effect of a special resolution, it was resolved that the company be wound up voluntarily ; and WILLIAM HENRY MADILL, a Director of the Company, was appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE ON A LOAN OF £300, BEING AN ADDITIONAL 10 PER CENT. ON THE ORIGINAL CAVES ROAD LOAN OF £3,000.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by section 4 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, the Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also other charges on a loan of £300, authorized to be raised by the Waitomo County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for completing contracts, metalling, &c., in connection with the Caves Road Loan, the said Waitomo County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-sixteenth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Caves Road Special-rating Area, comprising the whole of the Caves Road Special-rating Area as gazetted in connection with the original Caves Road Loan of £2,000 and £1,000 ; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable in one sum on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years or until the loan is fully paid off.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned ARTHUR WIMPENNY, HARRY WIMPENNY, and FRANCIS CHARLES FULTON REID, carrying on business as Motor Garage Proprietors at Medway Street, Gore, New Zealand, under the style or firm of “Wimpenny Bros. & Reid,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen. All debts due to and owing by the late firm will be received and paid respectively by “Wimpenny Bros. and Reid (Limited),” which company will continue to carry on the said business.

IN pursuance and exercise of powers vested in it in that behalf by section 4 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, the Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also other charges on a loan of £1,180, being 10 per cent. additional on the Mairoa Loan of £11,800, authorized to be raised by the Waitomo County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for to complete contracts, metalling, &c., in connection with the Mairoa Loan, the said Waitomo County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-eighth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Mairoa Special-rating Area, comprising the whole of the Mairoa Special-rating Area as gazetted in connection with the original Mairoa Loan of £11,800 ; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable in one sum on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years or until the loan is fully paid off.
