TE KUITI BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE FOR COVERING SECURITY ON ADDITIONAL LOAN OF £2,725.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, the Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a supplementary loan of two thousand seven hundred and twenty-five pounds (£2,725), authorized to be raised by the Te Kuiti Borough Council for the completion of streets, water extension, and drainage works, &c., the said Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-sixteenth of a penny (1/16d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Te Kuiti; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 32½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Te Kuiti Borough Council held on Monday, the 13th day of October, 1913, and is a true extract from the minute-book of such Council.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately subsisting between us, the undersigned, HENRY WALKEY and SAMUEL PANKHURST, carrying on business as General Coachbuilders and Blacksmiths at Waverley, under the style or firm of “Walkey & Pankhurst,” was on the 24th day of October, 1913, dissolved by mutual consent. All accounts owing to the said firm must be paid to Messrs. Palmer & Gray, of Waverley, and all claims against the firm sent to them. Their receipt only will be a sufficient discharge.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
THE Partnership heretofore existing between the undersigned, J. S. ANCHOR and J. A. M. FREDRIC, as Plumbers, Gasfitters, and Sanitary Engineers, Invercargill, has been dissolved as from the 22nd day of September, 1913.
All moneys owing to the late firm of Anchor and Fredric, and all debts owing by them, will be received and paid by J. S. ANCHOR.

RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON PROPOSAL TO RAISE LOAN.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the Utiku Bridge Special-rating District was taken on the 22nd day of October, 1913, on the proposal of the Rangitikei County Council to borrow the sum of £850 for the purpose of the construction of a bridge over the Hautapu River at Utiku.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 32
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 1.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

RESULT OF POLL FOR WAIROA RIVER FOOTBRIDGE LOAN OF £500.
I HEREBY give notice that at a poll taken this day upon the proposal of the Wairoa Borough Council to raise a special loan of £500 for the purpose of constructing a footbridge over the Wairoa River, the number of votes recorded was as follows: For the proposal, 158; against the proposal, 30; informal, 3.
As the number of votes recorded for the proposal exceeds the number of votes recorded against it, I hereby declare the proposal carried.

I HEREBY give notice that at a poll taken this day upon the proposal of the Wairoa Borough Council to raise a special loan of £1,500 for the purpose of building and equipping Borough Council Chambers, the number of votes recorded was as follows: For the proposal, 126; against the proposal, 61; informal, 4.
As the number of votes recorded for the proposal exceeds the number of votes recorded against it, I hereby declare the proposal carried.

BOROUGH OF TEMUKA.
RESULT OF POLL FOR PROPOSED LOAN OF £12,000.
I HEREBY give notice that on the 29th day of October, 1913, a proposal was submitted by the Temuka Borough Council to the ratepayers of the Borough of Temuka for raising a special loan of £12,000 for the purpose of purchasing and acquiring the gasworks, plant, &c., now established in the borough, and carrying on the same as a municipal concern.
And that the number of votes recorded respectively for and against the proposal was as follows: For the proposal, 119; against the proposal, 133; informal, 12. Total votes recorded, 264. Majority against the proposal, 14.
And I declare the said proposal to be rejected.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the matter of Collins Kerr and Company (Limited), of Christchurch and Wellington, Motor Importers.
NOTICE is hereby given that by resolution duly signed by all the shareholders of the above-named company, and dated the 25th day of October, 1913, it was resolved that—
“It having been proved to the satisfaction of the company that it cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, it is advisable to wind up the same.”
And notice is hereby also given that Mr. WILLIAM ERNEST BEST, of Christchurch, Accountant, has been duly appointed voluntary Liquidator of the said company.
