rateable value of all rateable property of the Mangapoiki
Bridge Special-rating District, comprising the lands within
the following boundaries : Bounded towards the north-west
by Mangapoiki Nos. 2A 3, 2A 2, Small Grazing-run 79A,
Whakaongaonga No. 1, and Section 1 of Block XIII, Patutahi Survey District; towards the north by Lot 2 and part 2
of Lot 4 of the Tarewauru Block to the Arai River; thence
by the Ongaware Stream ; thence westward by the northern
boundary of Maraetaha No. 2 to the Arai River; towards
the east (generally) by parts of Sections 6 and 3 (the Gisborne
Water-supply), Lots 5 and 1 of the Puninga Block, by the
Puninga River, by a road to and along the northern boundary
of Section 2 of Block XI, Nuhaka North Survey District, to
the Cook and Wairoa County boundaries; towards the south
by the said counties boundary to the point of commencement.
And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during
a period equal to the currency of such loan, being a period of
thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The rate of interest to be £4 10s. per cent.

KAWA DRAINAGE BOARD.

SPECIAL ORDER MAKING SPECIAL RATE FOR REPAYMENT OF LOAN.

IN pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by
the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, the Kawa Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £1,500, authorized to be raised by the Kawa Drainage Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of draining the Kawa Swamp, the said Kawa Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny (1d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property classified “A,” and one halfpenny (½d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property classified “B,” of all the rateable property of the Kawa Drainage District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off; and that the cost of raising same and the first year’s interest shall be paid out of the loan.
Dated at Te Awamutu the 20th day of September, 1913.
I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Kawa Drainage Board on the above date, and confirmed on the 18th day of October, 1913.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, the Uapoto Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,200, authorized to be raised by consent of the ratepayers of the Uapoto Drainage District for the purpose of constructing drains, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence three-farthings in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Uapoto Drainage District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed at a properly constituted meeting of the Uapoto Drainage Board held on 23rd October, 1913.

WAIKOHU COUNTY COUNCIL.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Waikohu County Council held on Friday, the 19th day of September, 1913, the following resolution was passed:—
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and by the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909, and the amendments thereof, the Waikohu County Council hereby
resolves as follows : That, for the purpose of providing the interest and sinking fund on a loan of £1,000, authorized to be raised by the Waikohu County Council, under the abovementioned Acts, for the purpose of continuing the present new road up the Waihora Valley now under construction, the Waikohu County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of (1/6th) one-sixth of one penny in the £1 upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Kana-kanaia Road Deviation No. 2 Special-rating Area, as described in the Schedule hereto; and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of (36½) thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off. It is proposed to pay the cost of raising the loan out of loan-moneys.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Waikohu County Council held on Friday, the nineteenth day of September, 1913, the following resolution was passed:—
Resolution.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and by the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909, and the amendments thereof, the Waikohu County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and sinking fund on a loan of £250, authorized to be raised by the Waikohu County Council, under the abovementioned Acts, for constructing a 14 ft. drain-road, the said Waikohu County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one and five-eighths pence in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Puhatikotiko Special-rating Area as described in the Schedule hereto; and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years (36½), or until the loan is fully paid off. It is proposed to pay the cost of raising the loan out of the loan-moneys.
