THE following notice, received from the Levels County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.

LEVELS COUNTY COUNCIL.
Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan of £1,400.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Levels County taken on the 24th day of January, 1913, on the proposal of the Levels County Council to borrow the sum of £1,400 for the purpose of building a bridge over the Tengawai River at Cleland’s Crossing, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 425, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 62.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

TE KUITI BOROUGH COUNCIL.
In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act, the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and the Local Elections and Polls Act, 1908.
I HEREBY give public notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Te Kuiti duly taken on Thursday, the 19th day of December, 1912, upon the proposal of the Te Kuiti Borough Council to raise a special loan of £13,000, under the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for the purpose of the completion of the various works of the borough, the voting upon such loan proposal was as follows: For the proposal, 51; against the proposal, 40; informal, 1.
And I hereby declare such loan proposal to be duly carried.
Dated at Te Kuiti this 21st day of December, 1912.

I HEREBY give notice that on 28th January, 1913, a poll was taken on a proposal to raise a loan of £2,000, under the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, for the purchase of a domain and recreation-ground for the Borough of Pukekohe, and that the result of the said poll was as follows: For the proposal, 76; against the proposal, 34; majority, 42.
I therefore declare the proposal to be duly carried.

THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, having reasonable ground for supposing that the persons whose names and addresses are shown in the Schedule hereunder are engaged in receiving money as the consideration for an assurance or agreement implied to pay money on events relating to horse races, it is hereby ordered, under section 28 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, that no money-order in favour of either of the said persons shall be issued, and that no postal packet addressed to either of the said persons (either by his own or any fictitious or assumed name) shall be either registered, forwarded, or delivered by the Post Office of New Zealand.
