COUNTY OF CHEVIOT.
Special Order declaring the Mackenzie Town Board abolished and the Town District merged in the County.
THE Cheviot County Council hereby resolves by way of special order as follows: That the Council, having received a petition signed by a majority of the householders of the Mackenzie Town District, in terms of section 35 of the Counties Act, 1908, accede to the request of the petitioners and abolish the Mackenzie Town Board and merge the district in the county.
The foregoing special order was duly made at a special meeting of the Council held on the 1st day of November, 1912, and confirmed at a meeting held on the 14th day of December, 1912.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Cheviot was hereto affixed this 14th day of December, 1912.

THE following resolution, made by the Waiapu County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

WAIAPU COUNTY COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, the Waiapu County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,700, authorized to be raised by the Waiapu County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the erecting of a jetty, and for other works in connection therewith, at Te Araroa, the said Waiapu County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 3d. in the pound upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property in the Te Araroa Jetty Special-rating District, comprising the lands defined in the Schedule hereto; and such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off. The rate of interest to be not more than 6 per centum per annum.

THE following resolution, made by the Helensville Town Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

HELENSVILLE TOWN BOARD.
WHEREAS the Helensville Town Board has been authorized by the ratepayers to borrow £10,000 for the purpose of a water-supply and drainage-works, and the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Board has finally granted the application for such loan at the rate of £5 1s. per centum per annum: And whereas the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Office Superintendent is unable to advance such loan—namely, £10,000—at the said rate of interest, but can advance the same at the rate of £5 2s. 10d. per centum per annum:
Now, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and section 4 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, the Helensville Town Board hereby resolves that, for the purpose of providing moneys sufficient to cover the increased payments in respect of such loan—namely, £10,000—the Helensville Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Helensville Town Board Rateable Area; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 30th day of June and the 31st day of December in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until such loan is fully paid off.
This resolution was read and passed by the Helensville Town Board at its regular meeting held on Saturday, 18th January, 1913.
The common seal of the Helensville Town Board was affixed hereto in pursuance of a resolution of the said Town Board passed on the 1st day of February, 1913, in the presence of—
