SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing
by admeasurement 392 acres 2 roods 20 perches, more or less, being Section 1, Block XIV, Kaitieke Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Section 41, Block X, Kaitieke Survey District; towards the north-east generally by Section 42 of said Block X; towards the south-east by Section 2, Block XIV; and towards the south-west generally by Section 11, Block XIV, to the Retaruke Road, by the crossing of that road, and by that road in a southerly direction to a road and river-bank reserve along the bank of the Retaruke River, by the last-mentioned road and river-bank reserve, and by Section 44, Block X, by the crossing of the Retaruke Road, and again by the last-named road : as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1913/28, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Land temporarily reserved for Gravel Purposes in Block XII, Mangawhero Survey District, Wellington Land District.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for gravel purposes.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 13 perches, more or less, being Section 19, Block XII, Mangawhero Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 15, 345 links; towards the east and south generally by a road and river-bank reserve 1 chain in width along the bank of the Turakina River; and towards the west generally by Sections Nos. 17 and 12, 289.7 links, 250.1 links, and 246.8 links : be all the aforementioned linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 460/27, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Land temporarily reserved for Purposes of Public Recreation in the Town of Langdale, Wellington Land District.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

by a line commencing at the easternmost corner of Suburban Section No. 15, Town of Langdale, and proceeding thence, on a bearing of 131ยฐ 31' for a distance of 100 links, to the northernmost corner of Suburban Section No. 11; thence towards the south-east by the north-western boundary-line of Suburban Sections 11 and 12, 1228.7 links, to the westernmost corner of the last-named section; thence towards the north-east by the south-western boundary-line of Suburban Section No. 12, for a distance of 733.4 links; again towards the south-east by Suburban Section No. 17, bearing 209ยฐ, for a distance of 101.86 links, to the north-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 3, Block III, Rewa Survey District; thence towards the south-west by the north-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 3 aforesaid, for a distance of 866.5 links, to the southernmost corner of Suburban Section No. 16 ; and thence towards the north-west by the south-eastern boundary-lines of Suburban Sections Nos. 16 and 15, for a distance of 1381.2 links, to the easternmost corner of the last-mentioned section, the place of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less: as the same is more particularly delineated on a plan marked L. and S. 1126/47, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Notifying the Proposed Exchange of Crown Land in the Wellington Land District for other Land.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
WHEREAS by section eleven of the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, it is enacted that it shall be lawful for the Governor, whenever he deems it expedient for the purposes of scenery-preservation, to grant in fee-simple any area of Crown land in exchange for the fee-simple of any other land which in his opinion is of approximately equal value, and that such exchange may be made under the provisions of section one hundred and forty-two of the Land Act, 1908:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to exchange the Crown lands described in the First Schedule hereto for the lands described in the Second Schedule, and the owner of the lands described in the Second Schedule has agreed to such exchange:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the aforesaid powers and authorities, doth hereby declare that it is his intention to grant in fee-simple the areas of Crown land described in the First Schedule hereto in exchange for the fee-simple of the areas of the land described in the Second Schedule.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
DESCRIPTION OF CROWN LANDS AUTHORIZED TO BE EXCHANGED.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing 3 roods 5 perches, more or less, being Section 27, Block XII, Mangawhero Survey District, and bounded as follows : Commencing at a point being the south-west corner of Section 13; towards the south by Section 1, 182.8 links; towards the west by the Turakina Valley Road, 402.1 links and 243.7 links; and towards the east by the said Section 13, 183.3 links and 430.3 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 558/32c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Also all that area in the Wellington Land District, containing 1 acre 2 roods 23 perches, more or less, being Section 18, Block XII, Mangawhero Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point being the north-west corner of Section 13; thence generally towards the east by the said Section 13, 364 links, 205.9 links, 95.3 links; towards the west generally by the Turakina Valley Road, 732.5 links and 160 links; and towards the north by a public road, 373.2 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 558/32d, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Also all that area in the Wellington Land District, containing 6 acres and 30 perches, more or less, being Section 14, Block XII, Mangawhero Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the eastern side of the
