HELENSVILLE TOWN BOARD.
RESULT OF POLL.
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that on the 2nd day of October, 1913, a proposal was submitted by the Helensville Town Board to the ratepayers of the Helensville Town District for raising a loan of £3,000 for the purpose of completing the drainage and waterworks within the said town district; and the number of votes recorded respectively for and against the proposal was as follows: For the proposal, 50 ; against the proposal, 2 ; majority, 48.
The said proposal is hereby declared to be carried.

WHANGAMOMONA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.—UPPER MANGAEHU No. 2 LOAN OF £2,500.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909, and the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Amendment Act, 1912, the Whangamomona County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the balance of £1,500 remaining unpaid by the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Office of a loan of £2,500, authorized to be raised by the Whangamomona County Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of forming to dray-road width and grading the Mangaehu Road from the end of the present formation to the Kohi Road Junction, and thenceforward in grading and forming to dray-road width the Kohi Road for as far as the loan-money will allow of, the said Whangamomona County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 3d. and 1/6th of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property of the Upper Mangaehu No. 2 Special-rating Area, comprising Subdivisions 2A, 2B. 2c, Block XIII, and Subdivision 2D, Block XIV, Mahoe Survey District; and Subdivision 17, Block IX, Ngatimaru Survey District; and Section 1, Block XIV, Section 8, Section 9, Block XIV, Section 10, Block X, Section 9, Block X, and part Subdivision 1A (500 acres), Block XIII, all in the Mahoe Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of January and the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Whangamomona County Council held on the 24th day of September, 1913, in accordance with the Acts authorizing and regulating Government loans to local bodies.

WHANGAMOMONA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE OF ONE-HALFPENNY IN THE POUND ON THE MAKAHU-MANGAEHU NO. II LOAN OF £800.
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and amendments, the Whangamomona County Council hereby resolves as follows:-
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £800, authorized to be raised by the Whangamomona County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for metalling the Brewer Road from the end of the present metal to the western end of the Brewer Road Tunnel, and for metalling the Mangaehu Road from the eastern end of the present metal for a further half a mile, or so far as the money will allow of, the said Whangamomona County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-half-penny (½d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rate-
able property of the Makahu-Mangaehu No. II Special-rating Area, comprising Section 12 of Block XIV, Sections I to 9 inclusive, 16, 17, 18, 28, 29, 31, 34, and 36 of Block XV, Sections 1 to 6 inclusive, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 17, eastern half of 7, and the northern half of 14 of Block XVI, all blocks being in the Ngatimaru Survey District; Sections 1, 17, 18, 49, 50, 51, 52, 86 to 90 inclusive, 94 to 99 inclusive, 101, 102, 103, and 134 of Strathmore Township; Sub. 1B, Sub. 1c, the western half of Sub. 1A, and the western 1,000 acres of Sub. 2B, Pahautuhia Block; Sub. 13, the southern 1,000 acres of Sub. 9, the southern 900 acres of Sub. 16, and the southern half of Sub. 12, 563 acres of Sub. 15, and 450 acres of Sub. 17, Pohokura Block: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of January and the first day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

BOROUGH OF FEILDING.
RESULT OF POLL FOR PROPOSED LOAN OF £10,000.
HEREBY give notice that at a poll taken this day upon the proposal of the Council of the Borough of Feilding to raise a special loan of ten thousand pounds (£10,000) for the purpose of installing electricity in the borough for light and power, the number of votes recorded was as follows: For the proposal, 387 ; against the proposal, 63 ; informal, 11. As the number of votes recorded for the proposal exceeds the number of votes recorded against the proposal, I hereby declare the proposal carried.

NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of the above-named company will be held at the office of the undersigned, Dominion Buildings, Queen Street, Hastings, on Friday, the thirty-first day of October, 1913, at ten o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of having the final account of the Liquidator, showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, laid before such meeting, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator.
