Special Order made by the Waitomo County Council altering Ridings and fixing Representation.

THE following special order, made by the Waitomo County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Counties Act, 1908.

WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL.
In exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 23 of the Counties Act, 1908, the Waitomo County Council resolves by way of a special order as follows:β

The present division of the County of Waitomo into eight ridings be revoked, and in lieu thereof the said county shall be divided into nine ridings to be called respectively Te Rauamoa Riding, Otorohanga Riding, Waitomo Riding, Hangatiki Riding, Mairoa Riding, Paemako Riding, Te Kuiti Riding, Aria Riding, and Tangitu Riding.

The said Waitomo County Council shall consist of nine members, who shall be elected one for each riding.

The alteration hereby made shall take effect on and after the 31st day of March, 1914.
SCHEDULE.
Te Rauamoa Riding.
All that area of land in the Auckland District, being portion of the Waitomo County, commencing at the Trig. Station No. 1922, and extending in a south-westerly direction to the south-west corner of Mangauika 1b No. 2, Section 2, Block II, Pirongia Survey District; thence along the western boundaries of Native and forest reserves and Section 4 to the south-western corner of Kopua 1s 2, Block VI, Pirongia Survey District, Waiwhakaata 3c (part) and 3b (part), Sections 1, 2, Block IX, Pirongia Survey District, and following the Hau-turu Road to Te Rauamoa; thence along western boundaries of Sections 1 and 2, Block 10, Pirongia Survey District, Sections 1 and 2 of Block XIII, Pirongia Survey District, to south-west corner of the said Section 2; thence in an easterly direction along the southern boundary of Section 2, Block XIII, Pirongia Survey District; thence along the northern boundaries of Tapuaehounuku No. 2c, Block XIV, Pirongia Survey District, Otorohanga No. 4b 2b of Block XV, Pirongia Survey District, Section 21 of Block III, Orahiri Survey District, Section 13, Block IV, Orahiri Survey District, Puketarata 4g 2a and Section 19, Block XVI, Pirongia Survey District, Sections 7, 5, 10, Puketarata No. 19 (12), to the Waitomo County boundary as described in the First Schedule of the Waitomo County Act, 1904; thence along the said Waitomo County boundary in a northerly direction to Pirongia, and then in a westward direction to the place of commencement.
Hangatiki Riding.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, being that portion of the Waitomo County bounded on the north generally by the Otorohanga Riding hereinbefore described, extending from the north-east corner of Rangitoto A (N. pn.) No. 60b, Block XI, Mangaorongo, to the north-west corner of Pukeroa-Hangatiki 2c 3, Block XII, Orahiri Survey District; thence in a southerly direction along the western boundaries of Pukeroa-Hangatiki No. 2c 3, Pukeroa-Hangatiki No. 4d No. 2, Pukeroa-Hangatiki 4c No. 3b, part Pukeroa-Hangatiki 4c 3a of Block XII, Orahiri Survey District; thence by the southern boundary of Crown land, 39 acres, to the railway-line; thence along the railway-line to the Te Kuiti Borough boundary; thence along the northern boundary of the Te Kuiti Borough to Section 10, Block XVI, Orar-hiri; thence along the eastern boundary of the Te Kuiti Borough in a southerly direction to the Mangaokewa Stream; thence along the Mangaokewa Stream in a southerly direction to the north-east corner of Section 1, Block VIII, Otanake; thence along the eastern boundary of the said section to the south-west corner of Rangitoto No. 68a; thence along the southern boundary of the Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 68a, Block VIII, Otanake, and V, Pakaumanu, Rangitoto 26r 2b, Block V, Pakaumanu; thence along the northern boundaries of Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 35n No. 2, Block VI, Pakaumanu, Rangitoto-Tuhua No. 25 No. 5b, Rangitoto A No. 67b, Rangitoto A (S. pn.) No. 60, of Blocks VII and VIII, Pakaumanu; thence along the southern boundary of Rangitoto A No. 30b; thence by the boundary of the said section to the Rangitoto Trig. 1641; thence in a north-westerly direction along the Waitomo
