Notifying Land in the Otago Land District subject to the Land for Settlements Consolidation Act, 1908.

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Land for Settlements Consolidation Act, 1908, and its amendments, I hereby notify that the undermentioned Crown land, being the land known as the Te Puke Settlement, which has been acquired under the said Acts, is subject to the said Acts as from the 31st July, 1913.
SCHEDULE.
TE PUKE SETTLEMENT.
ALL that parcel of land in the Land District of Otago, containing by admeasurement 662 acres 2 roods 22 poles, more or less, and being part of Section 18, Block II, and part of Section 8, Block V, of the Awamoko Survey District. Commencing at the south-west corner of said Section 18, and bounded on the west by Section 15 of said Block II, 4760 links, to the Awamoko Creek; thence towards the north-west generally by the said Awamoko Creek, 19910 links, to Section 27 of said Block II; thence towards the north-east by part of said Section 27, 80 links; thence towards the south-east by part of Section 16 of said Block II, 1477·7 links; again towards the north-east by said Section 16 and part of 17, 2760 links, to a public road; thence towards the south-east generally by the said public road, 1204·4 links, 5208·7 links, 1111·2 links, 1209·4 links, 1348·1 links, 1914·7 links, 792·6 links, and 170·6 links, to the eastern boundary of Section 7 of Block V of said Awamoko District; thence towards the west by said eastern boundary of Section 7, 600 links; thence towards the south by Sections 7, 6, and part 5 of said Block V, 4847·5 links, to commencement-point: be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less: the said parcel of land being more particularly shown on plan No. L. 19450, deposited in the Head Office of the Lands and Survey Department, Wellington, and edged with red.

ALL those parcels of land in the Land District of Otago, containing by admeasurement 760 acres, more or less, and being Sections 9, 10, 11, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 1 of 44, and part of 35 and 36 of Block III, Otepopo Survey District. Commencing at the north-west corner of said Section 9, and bounded thence on the north by Block V, Otepopo District, 3699 links; thence on the west by said Block V, 528·3 links; thence towards the north-east by a public road, 4203·5 links, 850 links, 620·5 links, and 527·1 links; thence towards the east by Section 12 of said Block III, 5543·3 links; thence towards the south-east by Sections 32 and 33 of said Block III, 3132·2 links; thence towards the south-west by other parts of said Sections 35, 36, by a line bearing 308° 54′, 2601·6 links; thence across a road-line on the production of the last-mentioned line, 50 links; thence again towards the south-east by the said road-line, 587·6 links, 1183·3 links, 1072·6 links, 502·3 links, and 647·4 links; thence towards the west-south-west by a road, 939·6 links, to the production of the south-south-east boundary of said Section 1 of 44; thence across the said road, 50 links; thence towards the south-south-east by Section 2 of 44 of said Block III, 1654·4 links; thence towards the west by Block V, Otepopo District, 3818·6 links, across a road-line, 50 links, and still towards the west by said Block V, 5711·6 links, to point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less: as the same is more particularly shown on plan No. L. 19449, deposited in the Head Office, Lands and Survey Department, Wellington, and thereon edged with red: excepting, nevertheless, out of the said boundaries two roads shown on said plan, and for which exception due allowance has been made in the area.
