HERMANN PAPE’S.

New Zealand Letters Patent No. 25830, dated 14th April, 1909, for “Process for the preparation of zinc oxide for reduction”; and No. 30217, dated 14th September, 1911, for “A new or improved process for the desulphuration of sulphate of zinc.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the above patentee is prepared to license the manufacture of the above patented inventions together or separately, or to sell or otherwise dispose of the patents on reasonable terms; or offers, proposals, or suggestions from any person, firm, or corporation desirous of using, exercising, and or vending the patented inventions in New Zealand, or of otherwise supplying the requirements of the public in respect to said inventions, will be favourably considered.

Specifications of the patents may be inspected at the Patent Office, Wellington, and further particulars may be obtained at the office of

STRATFORD COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, the Stratford County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £300, authorized to be raised by the Stratford County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of defraying the cost of metalling the Makuri Road from the Douglas Road westward to the end of the existing metal, the said Stratford County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one halfpenny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Makuri (Huiroa) Road No. 3 Special-rating District, comprising Sections 4, 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 23, 24, Block XII, Huiroa Survey District; Sections 1 to 7, inclusive, Block I, Sections 1 to 5, inclusive, Block II, Sections 1 to 7, inclusive, Block III, Sections 1 to 6, inclusive, Block V, Huiroa Township; and part Section 3, containing 62½ acres, Block IX, Ngatimaru Survey District: and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

The above resolution was passed at a properly constituted meeting of the Stratford County Council held on the 13th day of August, 1913.

OHINEMURI COUNTY COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and the amendments thereof and the regulations thereunder, the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ohinemuri hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing the sinking fund and interest and other charges on a loan of £300, authorized to be raised by the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ohinemuri, under the above-mentioned Act, for the construction of Robinson’s Road from Komata North Road to railway, Kaimanawa Road from the railway to the Waihou River, Komata North Road from Kaimanawa Road to the Waihou River, and Vedder’s Road from the Komata North Road to Sections 3 and 4, Block VIII, Waihou Survey District, the said Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ohinemuri hereby makes and levies a special rate of one halfpenny in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property of the Kaimanawa Special-rating Area; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of March in each year and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off; and that the cost of raising the loan shall be paid out of the loan.
