General Regulations of the Defence Forces amended.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Defence Act, 1909, and its amendments, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby make the following regulations; and I do hereby declare that such regulations shall come into force on the twentieth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.

SCHEDULE.

  1. AFTER Regulation 123 add,—

CANCELLATION OF COMMISSIONS.—OFFICERS TO COMPLETE TRAINING TO WHICH THEY MAY BE LIABLE.

123A. An officer whose commission is cancelled under section 5 (a) of the Defence Act, 1909, will complete the training to which he may be liable as in subparagraphs (1) and (2), Regulation 123.

  1. After Regulation 190 add,—

MEMBERS OF PERMANENT STAFF LIABLE TO DISMISSAL IF ADVERSELY REPORTED UPON.

199A. Members of the Permanent Staff who are adversely reported upon by their Officer Commanding District in the matter of zeal and efficiency as Instructors, or for misconduct, will be liable, with the approval of the Commandant of the Defence Forces, to dismissal.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twentieth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.

Postmaster appointed to take and receive Statutory Declarations.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the two-hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that

JOHN ROCKWELL CROCKER,

being a person holding the office of Postmaster under the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, at Waiau, is authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the two-hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908.

As witness my hand, this sixteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.
