thirteen, extend the hereinbefore-recited sections of the said Act to New Zealand from a date to be fixed by the Governor in Council, with the following modifications and adaptations, viz.:
(i.) For the words “within the United Kingdom,” in section 3 (1) of the said Act, there shall be deemed to be substituted the words “in the Dominion of New Zealand.”
(ii.) In section 3 (2) of the said Act, for the words “Secretary of State,” wherever such words occur, there shall be deemed to be substituted the words “Minister of Marine,” and for the words “the Board of Trade or any officer of the Board” the words “any officer of the Marine Department or of Customs.”
(iii.) In section 4 of the said Act there shall be deemed to be substituted for the words “section 42 of the Customs Consolidation Act, 1876,” the words “section 91 of the Customs Law Act, 1908.”
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of all the powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the said Order made by His Majesty in Council on the thirteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, shall come into operation on the first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.

Vesting Municipal Reserve in the Raetihi Town Board.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of August, 1913.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto have been duly set apart for municipal purposes; And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the said reserves in the Raetihi Town Board:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the fourth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserves described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Raetihi Town Board, in trust, for municipal purposes.

Notifying Lands in Taranaki Land District for Sale by Public Auction.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth section of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Wednesday, the fifteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, as the time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

Opening Lands in Taranaki Land District for Sale or Selection.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, having received the report of the Under-Secretary in this behalf, as provided by section one hundred and fifty-four of the said Act, do hereby declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection on Tuesday, the twenty-first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen; and also that the lands mentioned in the said Schedule may, at the option of the applicant, be purchased for cash, or be selected for occupation with right of purchase, or on renewable lease; and I do hereby also fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased, as mentioned in the said Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased under and subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1908.

WAITOMO COUNTY.—ARIA SURVEY DISTRICT.
Situated on the Kakara Road. Access from Waimiha Railway-station on the Main Trunk line, from fourteen miles and a half to sixteen miles distant—by formed road for about thirteen miles and a half, balance track. The land comprises fairly steep spurs and ridges, with some easy country along the road frontages. The sections are covered with a heavy forest of rata, rimu, miro, matai, kahikatea, tawa, tawhero, hinau, a little manuka and pukatea, and a dense undergrowth of mahoe, raurēkau, puku, kotukutuku, supple-jacks, pongas, rangiora, whauwhau, ramarama, &c.
