Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Purangi Domain.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of August, 1913.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the thirteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and three, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-fifth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and three, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Purangi Domain:

And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the twelfth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

FRANCIS JOHN WEBB,
BURTON JOHN FIELD,
GEORGE HANOVER,
FREDERICK WILLIAM WOISIN, and
HERMAN SANDER

to be the Purangi Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the sixth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and Mr. G. Hanover’s Store, Purangi, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

PURANGI DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less, being Section No. 2, Block II, Ngatimaru Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 8, Block I, Ngatimaru Survey District, 747·1 links, and by Willow Terrace, 1069·1 links; towards the south-east by Silk Road, 1397·5 links; towards the south-west by Purangi Terrace, 1217·2 links; and towards the north-west by Ngatoto Road, 512 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1233/17A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of Rochford Park Domain.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of August, 1913.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty-seven of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, by Order in Council gazetted, appoint any local authority to be the Domain Board having, subject to the said Act, control of any public domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-eighth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the thirty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, the land described in the Schedule hereto was brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act:

And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

THE OHAKUNE BOROUGH COUNCIL

to be the Rochford Park Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the second day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Borough Council Chambers, Ohakune, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

ROCHFORD PARK DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 8 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Section 5, Block IV, Makotuku Survey District. Bounded towards the west and north generally by Section 4, Block IV, Makotuku Survey District, 664·4 links, 170 links, 687·6 links, 366·9 links, and 319·6 links; towards the south-east by the Mangawhero River, and towards the south-west generally by the North Island Main Trunk Railway, 163·5 links, 77·9 links, 187 links, 72·3 links, 55·6 links, 256 links, 74·2 links, and 147 links.

Also all that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 6 acres 2 roods 32 perches, more or less, being Lot 1 of Section 18, Ohakune Village Settlement. Bounded towards the north-west by a public road, 223·1 links and 357·15 links; towards the north-east by Section 3, Block V, Kariol Survey District, 1194·3 links; towards the south-east by Lot 2 of Section 18 aforesaid, 416·8 links and 513·9 links; and towards the south-west by Ohakune Railway-station yard, 891·85 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1913/280A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Nelson Creek Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of August, 1913.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-third day of July, one thousand nine hundred and six, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-sixth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and six, certain powers were delegated to the Nelson Creek Domain Board for a period of seven years:

And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the twenty-fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

RICHARD LARKIN,
WILLIAM DONELLAN,
PATRICK O’BRIEN, and
PATRICK COLL

to be the Nelson Creek Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday, the second day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Schoolroom, Nelson Creek, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
