KIRIKIRIROA ROAD BOARD.
HILLSIDE SPECIAL-RATING AREA.
IN pursuance of section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of that part of the Kirikiriroa Road District known as the Hillside Special-rating Area was taken on the 28th day of July, 1913, upon the proposal of the Kirikiriroa Road Board to borrow the sum of £1,000 for the purpose of forming, constructing, and graveling roads within the said Hillside Special-rating area.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 8. The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 0.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

WOODLANDS DRAINAGE BOARD.
WOODLANDS SPECIAL-RATING AREA.
IN pursuance of section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of that part of the Woodlands Drainage District known as the Woodlands Special-rating Area was taken on the 28th day of July, 1913, upon the proposal of the Woodlands Drainage Board to borrow the sum of £1,500 for the purpose of constructing, deepening, and widening drains within the said Woodlands Special-rating Area.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 12. The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 0.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between us, JOHN SUTHERLAND DE MONTALK and FREDERICK PHIPPS KENAH, carrying on the business of Auctioneers at Pukekohe and Waiuku, under the style or firm of “J. S. de Montalk & Co.,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 1st day of August, 1913.
The business will in future be carried on by the said JOHN SUTHERLAND DE MONTALK, who will discharge the debts of the late firm, and to whom all accounts owing to the late firm must be paid.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between WILLIAM TIDYMAN and ALFRED JAMES COLEMAN, and carried on in Queen Street, Auckland, under the style or firm of “Tidyman & Coleman,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 21st day of July, 1913. The business will in future be carried on by the said WILLIAM TIDYMAN, who will receive all accounts due to the late firm and discharge all the debts due by the late firm.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership existing between ROBERT WILLIAM MILLAR, of Roslyn, Dunedin, and HENRY BARKER WADE, of Littlebourne, Dunedin, in respect of an “improved milking-apparatus,” was on the 28th November, 1912, dissolved by mutual consent. WHANGAREI BOROUGH COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to section 39 of the Rating Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Whangarei taken on the 6th day of August, 1913, on the proposal that the system of rating in the said borough be on the unimproved value, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 327; the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 228; informal, 9.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

AT an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of the above-named company duly convened and held at the company’s office, Hobson Buildings, Shortland Street, Auckland, on the 21st day of July, 1913, the following special resolution was duly passed; and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of the above-named company duly convened and held at the company’s office, Hobson Buildings, Shortland Street, Auckland, on the 6th day of August, 1913, the following special resolution was duly confirmed, viz.:—
That the Union Hauraki Gold-mines (Limited) be wound up voluntarily, under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908; and at such last-mentioned meeting HENRY JAMES LEE, of Auckland, was appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.
