Declaring Portions of Roads in Block IV, Mawhera-nui Survey District, to be Government Roads.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this fourteenth day of July, 1913.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government roads.

Declaring Portion of Road in Block III, Horohoro Survey District, to be a Government Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this fourteenth day of July, 1913.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government road.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Papatotara Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this fourteenth day of July, 1913.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twelfth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the nineteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, the land described in the Schedule hereto was brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act:

And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

JAMES MCEWAN,
HENRY DAVID NORMAN,
WILLIAM ARTHUR,
JAMES AITKEN YOUNG,
ARCHIBALD MCEWAN,
MICHAEL CAVANAGH,
HUGH ERSKINE,
PETER HAMILTON, and
DAVID DANIEL JENKINS

to be the Papatotara Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the said Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the fourth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Schoolroom, Papatotara, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

PAPATOTARA DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Southland Land District, containing by admeasurement 9 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Section 70 of Block III, Alton Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section 92, 1000 links; towards the south-east by Section 92 aforesaid, 1000 links; towards the south-west by Section 1, 1000 links; and towards the north-west by a road, 400 links, by Section 71, 250 links, 200 links, and 250 links, and again by the said road, 400 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4020/1A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
