HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to approve of the appointments, promotions, transfers, and resignations of the undermentioned Territorial Force Officers:—

Queen Alexandra’s 2nd (Wellington West Coast) Mounted Rifles.

The undermentioned Captains to be Majors. Dated 7th March, 1913.

Lieutenant John Hastings Chisholm to be Captain, vice Henty, promoted. Dated 7th March, 1913.

4th (Waikato) Mounted Rifles.

Lieutenant Albert Edward Fear resigns his commission. Dated 1st March, 1913.

New Zealand Field Artillery.

The notice published in New Zealand Gazette dated 24th April, 1913, relative to the transfer of Captain Alexander Fowler Roberts to the Reserve of Officers is hereby cancelled.

Captain Alexander Fowler Roberts is transferred to the Unattached List (a). Dated 20th February, 1913.

2nd Lieutenant Henry Meredith Garner to be Lieutenant, to complete establishment. Dated 12th February, 1913.

3rd (Auckland) Regiment (“Countess of Ranfurly’s Own”).

Lieutenant Reginald Henry Macdonald is transferred to the 16th (Waikato) Regiment. Dated 31st May, 1913.

2nd Lieutenant Wynne Peyton Gray is transferred to the 6th (Hauraki) Regiment. Dated 31st May, 1913.

David Reid Carpenter to be 2nd Lieutenant, on probation. Dated 31st May, 1913.

4th (Otago) Regiment.

2nd Lieutenant Patrick James Keligher to be Lieutenant, to complete establishment. Dated 24th March, 1913,

6th (Hauraki) Regiment.

2nd Lieutenant Wynne Peyton Gray, from the 3rd (Auckland) Regiment (“Countess of Ranfurly’s Own”), to be 2nd Lieutenant, with seniority next below 2nd Lieutenant Francis Symes Budd. Dated 31st May, 1913.

Lieutenant John Spraggon resigns his commission. Dated 5th March, 1913.

8th (Southland) Regiment.

Captain John Alexander Mackenzie is transferred to the Reserve of Officers. Dated 31st March, 1913.

Lieutenant Henry Patterson Young resigns his commission. Dated 13th May, 1913.

Sergeant Charles Edward Butcher to be 2nd Lieutenant, on probation. Dated 31st May, 1913.

10th (North Otago) Regiment.

Lieutenant Malcolm Francis is transferred to the Reserve of Officers. Dated 3rd May, 1913.

Sergeant Ralph Malcolm to be 2nd Lieutenant, on probation. Dated 31st May, 1913.

12th (Nelson) Regiment.

Lieutenant Donald Lloyd is transferred to the Reserve of Officers. Dated 8th March, 1913.

16th (Waikato) Regiment.

Lieutenant Reginald Henry Macdonald, from the 3rd (Auckland) Regiment (“Countess of Ranfurly’s Own”), to be Lieutenant, with seniority next below Lieutenant Herbert Horatio Spencer Westmacott. Dated 31st May, 1913.

New Zealand Medical Corps.

Hugh Thomas Dyke Acland, F.R.C.S., Eng., to be Captain. Dated 31st May, 1913.

New Zealand Chaplain’s Department.

The undermentioned to be Chaplains to the Forces, 4th Class:—

The Reverend William Frank Stent from the Unattached List (b), and to retain his original seniority in the New Zealand Chaplains’ Department. Dated 31st May, 1913.

The Reverend Michael Bawden Harris. Dated 8th May, 1913.

The Reverend Ernest Albert Kirwood. Dated 13th May, 1913.
