Colonial Exhibition, Semarang.

IT is hereby notified for general information that a letter has been received through the Consul for the Netherlands from the Chief Board of the Colonial Exhibition, Semarang, calling attention to the exhibition proposed to be held at Semarang in August to November, 1914.
The exhibition will show what has been achieved by Netherlands, India, in every branch of colonial development, and to what extent foreign industries supply her requirements.
Intending exhibitors should communicate with the President, H. C. A. G. de Vogel, or the Secretary, M. G. van Heel, C.E., Semarang.

Empire Day to be observed as a Holiday on King’s Birthday.

EMPIRE Day will be celebrated on Tuesday, the 3rd June proximo, the anniversary of the birthday of His Majesty the King, and that day will be observed as a public holiday in the Government offices throughout the Dominion.

THE following certificate has been executed on the sealed copy of the by-law made by the Huntly Town Board on the 13th day of March, 1913, entitled the General By-law, 1913.

In pursuance of the By-laws Act, 1910, I hereby confirm the within-written by-law, and declare that the same came into force on the 1st day of April, 1913.

Transfer of Control of Fresh-water Fisheries from Marine Department to Department of Internal Affairs.

IT is hereby notified for general information that as from the 1st June, 1913, Part II of the Fisheries Act, 1908, relating to fresh-water fisheries shall be in charge of the Minister of Internal Affairs, and will be administered by the Department of Internal Affairs in lieu of the Marine Department, which latter Department will continue to administer Part I of the above-named Act relating to sea fisheries.

Special Order made by the Taranaki County Council altering Boundaries of the Moa and Waitara West Road Districts.

THE following special order, made by the Taranaki County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Counties Act, 1908.

TARANAKI COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order altering the Boundaries of the Moa and Waitara West Road Districts.
RESOLVED, That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 10 of the Road Boards Act, 1908, the Council of the County of Taranaki resolves by way of special order: That on and after the 6th day of May, 1913, the boundaries of the Waitara West Road District shall be altered by excluding therefrom the land described in the Schedule hereunder and including the same in the Moa Road District.
SCHEDULE.
Sections 182 and 183, Block IX, Waitara Survey District, and southern portion of Section 181, Block IX, Waitara Survey District, bounded on the north by the Mangapotou Stream, on the west by the Everett Road, and on the east by the Manganui Stream.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Taranaki was affixed hereto by the Chairman, duly authorized by resolution of the Council passed on the 5th day of May, 1913.

TARANAKI COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order merging Henui Road District.
RESOLVED, That, in pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Counties Act, 1908, the Council of the County of Taranaki, to accede to the prayer of the petitioners of the Henui Road District, hereby resolves as follows: That the area of the Henui Road District be merged into the County of Taranaki as from the 6th day of May, 1913.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Taranaki was affixed hereto by the Chairman, duly authorized by resolution of the Council passed on the 5th May, 1913.
