of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and such reserve shall hereafter be known as Tokomaru Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.

TOKOMARU DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 2 roods 3·7 perches, more or less, situate in the Township of Tokomaru, being part of Allotment No. 11 of the Manawatu Kukutauki No. 2A Block, and comprising Lots 99, 101, 103, 105, and 107, and part Lots 95 and 97 on deposited plan No. 367, and being all the land referred to in certificate of title, Register-book Vol. 216, folio 33, Wellington.

Recreation Reserve in Canterbury Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-sixth day of May, 1913.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-sixth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Canterbury Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and such reserve shall hereafter be known as Upper Riccarton Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.

SCHEDULE.

UPPER RIC CARTON DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 6 acres 3 roods, more or less, being Reserve No. 3926 (in red), formerly part of R.S. 68, situate in Block X, Christchurch Survey District. Commencing at a point on the north boundary Yaldhurst Road, the same being distant 340 links north-west from the south-east corner of R.S. 68; thence bounded by lines bearing 292° 40′ 30″, 250 links; 22° 46′, 300 links; 292° 40′ 30″, 280·2 links; 22° 31′, 1126·4 links; 112° 40′ 30″, 535·1 links; 202° 46′, 1426·4 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L and S. 4025/15A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Extension of Special Shooting Season for Imported Game, Otago Acclimatization District.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

WHEREAS by a Warrant, dated the twenty-fourth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen (hereinafter referred to as “the said Warrant”), and published in a Supplement dated the twenty-fifth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, to the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-fourth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen:

And whereas by the said Warrant it was notified that certain imported game might be killed within the said Otago Acclimatization District from the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, to the thirty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen:

And whereas it is deemed expedient to extend the period during which the said Otago Acclimatization District shall

be exempted from the operation of the said section twenty-six of the Animals Protection Act, 1908, in so far as it refers to the date upon which imported game may be killed:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify that the imported game mentioned in the said Warrant may be killed within the Otago Acclimatization District for the period named in the said Warrant and for the further period ending on the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, on the conditions named in the said Warrant:

And I do further notify that licenses issued to kill imported game in the said district shall be in full force and effect until the said thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-fourth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.

Blythe Swamp, Stonyhurst Survey District, County of Waipara, declared a Sanctuary for Imported and Native Game.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

PURSUANT to the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be a sanctuary for the purposes of the said Animals Protection Act, and that no imported game or Native game shall be taken or killed within the said area.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, being parts of Rural Sections Nos. 25428 and 26341, situated in Stonyhurst Survey District, and known as Blythe Swamp, containing about 40 acres, and the area within a line parallel to and 5 chains distant from the edge of the said Blythe Swamp.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, the twenty-fifth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.

Opening Lands in Taranaki Land District for Sale or Selection.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, having received the report of the Under-Secretary in this behalf, as provided by section one hundred and fifty-four of the said Act, do hereby declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection on Wednesday, the sixteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen; and also that the lands mentioned in the said Schedule may, at the option of the applicant, be purchased for cash, or be selected for occupation with right of purchase, or on renewable lease; and I do hereby also fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased, as mentioned in the said Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said lands shall be sold, occupied, or leased under and subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1908.
