A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for a further portion of the Catlin's-Seaward Bush Railway, and for road-diversions in connection therewith:
And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a further portion of the said line of railway hereinbefore specified, and for the road-diversions in connection therewith as aforesaid.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this thirty-first day of March, 1913.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the third day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the ninth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, a regulation was made under the authority of section one hundred and ninety-seven of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908 (hereunder termed "the said Act"), with respect to the promotion of officers of the Post and Telegraph Department; and it is expedient to revoke such regulation:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke regulation numbered 50A so made by the hereinbefore-mentioned Order in Council.

WHEREAS it is provided by section sixteen of the Tramways Act, 1908, as amended by section six of the Tramways Amendment Act, 1911, that any local authority may from time to time, on the application of any person in that behalf, grant a license to such person to lay down, construct, and maintain a private tramway on, along, or across any street or road under its control, subject to such terms and conditions as such local authority approves, provided that such tramway shall be used only in connection with and for the purposes of the business of such person, and that such business shall not be the carriage of passengers or goods for hire:
And whereas it is provided by section ten of the Tramways Amendment Act, 1910, that the license may be for such term not exceeding twenty-one years as the Governor in Council approves:
And whereas Levin and Company (Limited), of Wellington (hereinafter called "the company"), has made application to the Onslow Borough Council for a license to lay down, construct, and maintain as a private tramway that portion of the siding connecting the Government Wellington-Hutt Railway with the companyβs business premises at Kaiwarra, in the Borough of Onslow, which crosses the street known as Station Road, in the Borough of Onslow, in accordance with the specifications and plans marked P.W.D. 33283, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works:
