NOTICE is hereby given that the parcel of land
hereinafter described will be brought under the
provisions of the Land Transfer Act, 1908, unless caveat be
lodged forbidding the same within one month from the date
of the Gazette containing this notice.

A PPLICATION having been made to me for the issue of
a provisional certificate of title in favour of WILLIAM
FREW, of Riverton, Retired Farmer, for Sections 53, 54,
and 55, Block I, Jacobs River Hundred, being the land
contained in certificate of title, Vol. 62, folio 80 ; and evidence
having been lodged of the loss of the said certificate of title,
I hereby give notice that I shall issue a provisional certificate
of title as requested, unless caveat be lodged forbidding the
same within fourteen days from the date of publication of
this notice in the Gazette.

Takaka County Council held on the 11th day of Feb-
ruary, 1913, the following resolution was passed, viz.:—
"That Part II of the Motor Regulation Act, 1908, be
brought into operation in the County of Takaka as from the
1st day of May, 1913."

THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND TRUSTS BILL, 1913.

NOTICE is hereby given that application is intended to
be made to the General Assembly of New Zealand in
the ensuing session by the Right Rev. THOMAS HENRY
SPROTT, D.D., Bishop of Wellington ; the Rev. Canon GEORGE
MACMURRAY, of the City of Auckland; HENRY DOUGLASS
ANDREWS, of the City of Christchurch, Barrister ; and
THOMAS FREDERIC MARTIN, of the City of Wellington, Bar-
rister (hereinafter called “the promoters”), for leave to
bring in a private Bill, the Short Title of which is as above,
to effect the following objects and purposes, viz. :—

  1. To provide that all hereditaments conveyed by Bishop
    Selwyn to trustees, under the Bishop of New Zealand Trusts
    Acts of 1858 and 1868, shall be held on behalf of the General
    Synod of the Church of England, upon the trusts affecting
    such hereditaments.
  2. To give to the said trustees powers of sale and exchange
    (with power to give or receive money for equality of exchange),
    the sale and equality moneys to be laid out in purchasing
    other hereditaments to be held on the same trusts or in
    effecting permanent improvements to other hereditaments
    so held, or invested in trustee securities and power to mort-
    gage for effecting permanent improvements to the property
    mortgaged or to other property held on the same trusts, and
    to give such trustees power to lease for twenty-one years,
    or if for building purposes for sixty years.
  3. To provide that the said trustees shall exercise the said
    powers of sale, exchange, and mortgage only by authority
    of the General Synod.
  4. To continue the said Acts of 1858 and 1868 and the
    Bishops in New Zealand Trusts Act, 1871, between the
    commencement of the Statutes Repeal Act, 1907, and the
    proposed Act.
