Exempting Road in the Oroua County from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twentieth day of January, 1913.

Present :
His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by subsection one of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is, inter alia, provided that the provisions of the said section shall not apply in any case where the local authority having control of a road or street by resolution declares that the provisions thereof shall not apply to any specified road or street, or any specified part thereof, and such resolution is approved by the Governor in Council :

And whereas on the second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, the Oroua County Council, the local authority having control of the road described in the Schedule hereto, did by resolution declare that the provisions of the said section one hundred and seventeen should not apply to the said road :

And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolution should be approved :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the said resolution.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that road in the Wellington Land District, Oroua County, adjoining Upper Aorangi 1c No. 1, Block XIV, Oroua Survey District, having a length of 10½ chains, more or less ; as the said piece of road is more particularly delineated on blueprint marked P.W.D. 32947, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured purple and lettered A B.

Exempting District Roads in the Portobello Road District from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twentieth day of January, 1913.

Present :
His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by subsection one of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is, inter alia, provided that the said section shall not apply in any case where a local authority having control of a road or street by resolution declares that the provisions thereof shall not apply to any specified road or street, or any specified part thereof, and such resolution is approved by the Governor in Council :

And whereas on the fifth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, the Portobello Road Board, the local authority having control of the portions of roads described in the Schedule hereto, did by resolution declare that the provisions of the said section one hundred and seventeen should not apply to the said portions of roads :

And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolution should be approved :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the said resolution in so far as it affects the said portions of roads described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of district road in the Otago Land District, Portobello Road District, fronting Sections 19 and 20, Upper Harbour East, Sections 68, 463B, and 464B, Block II, Otago Peninsula District, and Section 40, Block I, Otago Peninsula District, being a distance of 37 chains, more or less.

Also all that district road in the said land and road districts fronting Sections 65, 66, 67, and 68, Block II, Otago Peninsula District, being a distance of 20½ chains, more or less.

As the said portions of roads are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 32448, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Exempting Church Street, Papanui, in the Waimairi County, from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908.

And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolution should be approved :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the said resolution.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that road in the Waimairi County, Canterbury Land District, known as Church Street, Papanui, lying between the railway and St. James Street, and adjoining or passing through part of Rural Section 151, Block II, Christchurch Survey District ; as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 30949, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon bordered blue.

And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolution should be approved :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Act, and acting
