Proclaiming Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section three hundred and seventy-four of the Native Land Act, 1909 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), it is provided, inter alia, that all Native land purchased by the Crown under the authority of this Act shall, on becoming vested in severality in the Crown, become Crown land subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1908, and shall be proclaimed as such by the Governor, and shall thereafter be administered and dealt with accordingly:

And whereas the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been purchased and has become vested in severality in the Crown:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section three hundred and seventy-four of the said Act, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land set out in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1908.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this seventeenth day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.

ALL that piece or parcel of land situate in the Wairoa Survey District, containing 16 acres, more or less, being the land known as Allotment 57B of Section 406 of Block XII of the said survey district.
