Tua Marina River District, County of Marlborough, constituted.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the River Boards Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), as amended by the River Boards Amendment Act, 1910, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date hereof, that part of the said Dominion described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby constituted a river district under the said Act, and shall be known by the name of the Tua Marina River District; and, further, that the number of members who are to constitute the Board of the said district shall be five.
And I do also proclaim and declare that Arthur Wellington Barnett, of Tuamarina, shall be the Returning Officer to conduct the first elections of the aforesaid district; that Thursday, the twenty-ninth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, shall be the day for holding such first elections; and that Thursday, the fifth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, at eleven o'clock in the forenoon, shall be the time, and the Tua Marina Hall, Tuamarina, shall be the place, at which the first meeting of the members of the Board of the said river district shall be held.
And, lastly, I do proclaim and declare that the aforesaid Arthur Wellington Barnett shall be the person to make a roll of electors for the purposes of the aforesaid first elections, in the manner prescribed by section eight of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
TUA MARINA RIVER DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the left bank of the Wairau River in line with the western boundary of Section No. 54, Block VII, Cloudy Bay Survey District; thence to and along the western boundary of that section to its north-western corner; thence across a road diagonally to the south-western corner of Section No. 53 and along the western boundary of that section to its north-western corner; thence along the northern boundaries of Sections Nos. 51, 48, 45, and part of the Village of Tuamarina to the Picton—Blenheim Road; thence northerly along the eastern side and across that road to the south-western corner of Section No. 11, Block VII aforesaid; thence along the southern and eastern boundaries of the last-mentioned section to its north-eastern corner; thence along the northern boundaries of Sections Nos. 11, 9A, and 10, and the western boundaries of Sections Nos. 10, 8A, 6, 4B, and 2, and across a road to the left bank of the Wairau River; and thence along the left bank of that river to the place of commencement.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of April, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.

Regulations for Deer-shooting, Southland.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection Act, 1908 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby make the following regulations prescribing the deer-shooting season in the Southland Acclimatization District, exclusive of all sanctuaries, and the conditions affecting the same, and also the form of license and the fee payable therefor.
