Appointment of Manager of Government Industrial School.

IT is hereby notified that, in pursuance of section 8 of the Industrial Schools Act, 1908, I, Francis Henry Dillon Bell, a Member of the Executive Council of New Zealand (being a Responsible Minister of the Crown), acting for the Minister of Education of the Dominion of New Zealand, have appointed

LEONARD BALLARD BRADSTOCK, Esq.,

to be Manager of the Boys’ Industrial School, Stoke, as from the 28th instant.

2nd Lieutenant Derisley Thayer Wood, from the 10th (Nelson) Mounted Rifles, to be 2nd Lieutenant. Dated 1st April, 1913.

5th Mounted Rifles (Otago Hussars).

The undermentioned to be 2nd Lieutenants (on probation), supernumerary to the establishment :-

Robert Law. Dated 3rd April, 1913.
Richard James Ernest Smith. Dated 4th April, 1913.

10th (Nelson) Mounted Rifles.

9th (Wellington) East Coast Regiment.

New Zealand Medical Corps.

Major Richard Walker Anderson to be Acting Principal Medical Officer, Canterbury District, and to hold the temporary rank of Lieutenant-Colonel whilst so employed. Dated 1st January, 1913.
Hugh Paterson, M.B., to be Lieutenant. Dated 23rd March, 1913.

New Zealand Veterinary Corps.

Captain William Watkin Herbert Edwards, M.R.C.V.S., Eng., resigns his commission. Dated 11th March, 1913.

New Zealand Chaplains Department.

The Reverend William Joseph Ormond to be Chaplain to the Forces, 4th Class. Dated 7th April, 1913.
